I don’t guide for stripers, but when they hit and take the bait, it’s quite something to experience. This is the second weekend in a row where we’ve put a 20 lb + striper in the boat. I’m honestly amazed that we have been able to get them in, considering I have my bass rods spooled with 6 lb test line. My client Homer said it was the biggest fish he had ever caught. But stay tuned for Part 2, because Homer will catch a bigger fish the next day. It’s just awesome what our river will produce.
