The No. 1-ranked Keiser women’s golf team claimed their second tournament win of the season, winning the SEU Invitational on Tuesday. Played at the Grasslands Golf and Country Club in Lakeland, Florida (Par 72, 6,010 yards), this year’s featured 10 teams, including six that are currently ranked in the NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25. The field also included all seven Sun Conference teams. Led by a stellar second round score of 283 (second-lowest round in program history), the Seahawks topped the team leaderboard 24 strokes ahead of the No. 3-ranked SCAD Savannah Bees, who finished second. 

Sophomore Mohea Mansbendel claimed medalist honors, shooting a 1-over, 217 (74-71-72). The tournament victory was the first of the season for Mansbendel and the second of her Keiser career. Senior Carolin Alblas notched her third top-5 finish of the season, placing tied for second with a 2-over, 218 (77-71-70). The Seahawks also had two other golfer place in the top 10 as Luz Maria Ardila finished seventh (10-over, 226) Sophia Sindersberger finished eighth (12-over, 228).
