Day Two Surge Lifts Men’s Golf to Second-Place Finish at the Crusader Cup

WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas – A furious rally in day two of the Crusader Cup vaulted the Concordia Texas men’s golf team to a second place finish. Leading the charge was Kaden English & Parker Smith, who earned top-10 finishes at the Hawks Creek Golf Course. 

English (73-71-144, E) posted a field-best eight birdies which launched him to second overall. Him & Smith (77-72-149) were nearly automatic on par-4’s as they averaged 3.95 shots, which was tied for second best.

Adrian Rodriguez (75-75-152, T-16th) & Ryan Rios (80-75-155, T-20th) both posted solid outings with improvements in round two. Jack Mara rounded out the team scoring at 78-86-164 to tie for 40th, while Koke Dolce tied for 49th with a score of 88-82-170.
