TILT AND TURN – GREAT GOLF SWING TIPS



Here, I demonstrate how to obtain the perfect backswing by learning to tilt and turn your hips correctly. The tilt and turn of your hips during the backswing is essential, especially if you want to generate more power, hit more consistent golf shots and create the perfect backswing sequence.

Many golfers will turn their hips too horizontally and level to the ground, which in turn causes over rotation in their backswing and this can cause a reverse pivot. Try to move your hips laterally at the start of your backswing, this will then allow you to turn around your trail leg and create a far superior backswing position.

  1. Great content Ian , I can relate to exactly what you said and showed. I have always felt as though my weight was never transferring to my right side , and my shots were weak and not penetrating. This will help me very much and will try it tomorrow on range. Regards Jeff.
