  1. I played all my high school golf at the Ft Leavenworth course. I lived in one of the large homes right next door. I walked to the course from the house. Fond memories. Nice having prisoners to maintain the place.

  2. Trails west is a very cool course. Definitely feels weird having to go through the security systems. Nice course, especially for the price.

  3. Hey Matt, how are you doing today so far? I am going to play golf this morning with my guys from Elkton, Michigan. I got two holes in one. Have a wonderful weekend. Bye-bye. Aaron Crann

  4. Usually the best military base golf courses are on airforce bases. Argue all you want but they definitely have a higher standard of living for the average troop.

  5. Played Whitman AFB course called Royal Oaks GC outside Knob Noster MO 15 years ago. Had a great layout but not as nice as what Levenworth was. Cool thing was watching the B2 bombers fly over! That was sweet!

  6. I played there several years ago. The course was very nice. We were attending a conference and had rooms on the base. The rooms were some of the nicest I have ever seen during my military career. They buildings were from the 1800s.

  7. I booked to play there in the summer. Long story short – I didn't get Pentagon permission since I'm from Canada. Now I get to see what I missed.

  8. Matt, you have to play Dorset Field Club in Dorset, VT. It’s the longest running 9 hole golf course in the US. It is currently an 18 hole course. All I can say is it’s old and I’m sure it’s haunted! Cheers

  9. I've played more military courses that were, sometimes, best in the area. Depends on the Commander, those of you mil or prior know what I'm talking about.

  10. Hey Matt, it’s Matt from the Champions pre-qualifier in Illinois. Let me know next time you come play in Kansas. Would be honored to play a round with you.
