I think Mike Tomlin is doing the right thing by not letting Justin Fields get too comfortable he’s got a vet behind him that’s gonna push him I don’t think Mike has any intentions of starting Russell Wilson

Mike Tomlin is basically not a good enough head coach for the Steelers. Justin Fields has probably pushed back on ole Mike Tomlin and in typical Mike Tomlin fashion he is mismanaging Justin Fields. The QB choice is irrelevant in Mike Tomlin's dinosaur safe offensive scheme. 30 ppg is the new standard and has been for a while. It's time for Mike Tomlin to retire to ESPN where he can do what he does best…fill the air with words.
Russ won’t be great. He’s never been great his whole career
Justin was not the reason for the Steelers losses. Every player has a limitation. Wilson’s limitations are going to show. He’s going to be sitting duck behind that offensive line.

I don't know why people are so in love with Justin Fields the QB. He's a good kid as far as I know but let this be any other QB on any team or otherwise be someone you don't particularly like and regardless of the W/L record you'd be looking at his stats and the performance of the offense and defense and saying he's not good enough. Is it because it's Russel Wilson? I think it's because it's Russel Wilson. I get that he's older but if he's better, and I'd like to see if that's the case, Russ should get the gig. If Justin truly is their future (Hint: He's not) then he'll have plenty of opportunities. He's not good enough to win anything significant right now and Tomlin knows that.
