My goal for this season was to break 90. Last season my personal best was a 98, I had a swing analysis in the offseason and then started noting my distances for each club and it helped massively. Finally the big piece was not blowing up if I hit a bad shot, and I get this kind of round which is a personal best by 9 strokes!

Forgot to mention this but I shot a 93 earlier this season, that was my personal best before today.
Sick stretch there on the front 9
CONGRATS!! I had a similar experience this summer breaking 80. Consistently shooting 82’s- 85’s, just wanting to break the barrier into the 70’s. Hoping for just one 79 or 78.
One fateful day, it simply clicked and I shot a 76, with a double on 18, after going OB, and playing 3 off the tee. Sometimes it all just comes together and you just play way better than even you expect.
Finishing with a birdie is just the cherry on top.
Not a brag but I had this same experience. First sub 90 was much lower. First sub 80 was 78. First sub 70 was a 66.
And I say that as an example of opening each floodgate! Once you’ve broken through, no need to look back!
Hey! City park golf course in Denver! Very nice. That’s a favorite!
Nice. My lowest this season was 92. Been doing 94-96’s past few rounds. I’ll break 90 as soon as I stop three putting so gd much!
Hell of a round!!! Enjoy it. I shoot the lights out and then play the next round like a total beginner!!!!
Nice round – but where’s the plaque!?
Booms
Take that City Park this SuperStar showed you what’s up, congratulations on the personal best
Congrats on your trajectory, shaving 10 more strokes will take a lot of work
Very nice! Next step is to get some clubs from this millennium and chase 80!
time to look for the nearest pro qualifier
Nice save at the end after the b2b doubles! I love rounds where I’m at my lowest, and my brain goes into game-time mode to save the round.
