  1. Gabe coming through with another banger top irons list! None of these clubs were right for me unfortunately, I based my decision to go with the 925 HL's from videos where they demonstrated how the clubs worked at my beginner swing speed and trying them. I think they definitely can benefit us mere mortals 😅 keep up the great content 🙌🏽

  2. Enjoyed the review Gabe. I have family across the Howard Frankland and they faced a similar situation as you. I'll be getting the TS3's next year when its time to get new irons.

  3. Gotta say I don't agree with your scoring system. Value doesn't matter over performance if you're willing to pay the extra money. For example the mizuno 245 scoring 5 out of 5 in everything except value. To me that is the best club as the 4 scores that matter were 4 outta 5.

  4. Great video as always! And great to see you back at it with the weather you’ve had. I’m waiting for the prices to drop so I can get the Wilson Dynapowers! 😬😬.

  5. I just played my new set of MacGregor MT mills they were great , thank you for your input on clubs help me in making which one I’m going to game 😁… I was hoping they would be nearer the 1 spot bc of the availability for lefties, maybe next you could mention this when you do reviews 👍🏽…. Keep up the great work!!!

  6. I have a set of Maltby TS3 irons. I love them. I'm a 15 HCP and can hit the sweet spot readily. They are absolutely superb! I'm glad you had a chance to play and rate them. PS: The Kuro Kage shafts make them even better in my opinion.

  7. Refreshing, if odd, choices. Compared to the predominant reviews by many other Youtube golf producers who select the usual suspects: Titleist, Taylormade, Callaway, Ping….

  8. I got some Maltby’s TS3 this year with a Nippon NS pro 950gh shaft .370 stiff….was using Mizuno, playing to 5 hdcp. Best irons I have ever used. Soft feel, good distance. Shaft puréing I would recommend, it makes a difference.

  9. Great review as always. I am not in the market for new club this year, but I enjoy your reviews. You make us discover new brands of clubs at a more reasonable price than the regular ones.

  10. How did you make out with the 2nd hurricane? Looks like ok. Tough stretch! I have the Maltby TS4s and MacGregor MT Milled. Love them both, but been playing the MT Milled just a bit better. Wish me luck. Playing tomorrow in my Club's Super Senior Championship.

  11. Dang! Really wishing you would have reviewed the TS3's before the TS1im's because i would've got the TS3's back in February/March lol.

Still love the TS1im's. Curious what everyone thinks about the ease of use of the im's vs the 3's. I play about a 12.5 index.

  12. Nice! I own a set of 223/243 and still can’t hit them for some reason; only Mizunos I’ve never gotten along with…but they look so good, I’ll keep trying. On the JCB, you stated it got 4.5 stars for distance, but the chart shows 3.5?

  13. My most recent golfworks catalog has the Maltby ts1 IM and ts4 at 559.99 with score shafts now, the ts3 is at 519.99 with the score shaft, so a burst of popularity has driven the cost up just a little. Still a big bargain. The TE+ is the sneaky bargain at 459.99, definitely a worthy contender with great retro good looks. Like old titleist DCI black understated good looks, some of us like that.
Although a big failure in the value spectrum of things I've heard nothing but greatness to describe the new Callaway Apex Ti fusion irons.

  14. I play the Maltby TS3’s in the Nippon 950’s. I got them after Gabe’s original review of them. They’re clearly the best irons I have ever played in my life. The looks, feel, and playability is amazing. I have tried everything out there from the big names, including their most current stuff, and these irons eat their lunch. I especially love the playability of the long irons. They’re effortless. This says a lot from a 12 handicap. They are a lifetime set for me. Thanks Gabe! I wouldn’t have found them without your review.

  15. Great video Gabe! It is good to see you back posting content. I hope Milton didn't cause too much damage to your property and that your power wasn't out for long. How would your compare the Maltby TS3s to your beloved Edel SMS Pros?

  16. Started the year with the Wilson cb irons and love them! I may get the Dynapwr forged for my backup set when I’m not playing as much! Great clubs and great value.

  17. I just picked up a set of Maltby TS3s and after a few range sessions and a quick 9 hole, I am absolutely in love with them so far. Thank you for your reviews and insights. They’re gorgeous clubs to boot. Looking forward to playing more rounds with them.

  18. I own Toura TG MB's. Not even the Japanese ones because I got them before he got the Japanese models. Nontheless the quality, look, and feel is unreal. So soft and a premium feeling club face. I went to these after selling a set of P770's that I bought brand new in 2021. Different club design yes, but the quality of Toura's offerings is terrific for the price.

  19. Just added a Wilson Launch Pad driver to my bag brand new, and while nearly 2 years old you can see the shift in their DNA. I cannot quite reason out new irons yet (I am scrub ttying to work my way up to hack before next summer) , I cannot emphasize enough how much the driver has helped. Trust Wilson Staff. They know what they are doing.

  20. Ts3 looking to replace my t100 how does feel compare? Been very interested in trying the less known brands.

  21. I know you said Maltby TS3 was one of your highest rated irons of the past 5 years, but how does it compare to some of the takomo clubs?

  22. Good to see you back in action! Hope the the family is safe and damage minimal.

2:58 I'll be signing autographs after the show 😂

  23. Love the reviews and rankings. So glad to see Maltby finally getting the love they deserve. Thank you for all the hard work brother and God Bless.

  24. Hello Gabe – just checking – were the three Maltby/Golfworks irons tested with the TT Score shaft or did you use anything else? Curious, thanks/MG.
