This is my first restoration that I’m really happy with. I avoided the muriatic acid bath since I have no way of reapplying the nickel. All this is done with different grits of scotch and sandpaper sponges by hand. No polishing has been done since I don’t have the equipment.
I haven’t messed with the club face a lot except for some WD40 and steel wool to take the worst rust and a little scotch to take the worst scratches. I wanna keep the milled face intact which unfortunately means the larger scratches from the previous owner are still present. Still super happy with the result tho.

Looks great
No face shot?
Somebody get that Scotty Cameron “restoration” guy in here
Loved the old Vokey wedges, could rip the cover off the ball with those grooves. Wish they were still league for tourneys.
WOW
That’s sweet what kind of sand sponges? Like the grey ones for drywall?
Where’s the money shot
👏🏻 great job
Let it rust!
Impressive!
Nice
I found a Vokey 60 on the course. No one called or claimed it at the clubhouse so after a few weeks they let me have it.
I love it. It needs some TLC like yours got though, looks great!
Great work!
The bounce angle is now much lower than what was intended. That’s going to be hard to hit.
