After a horrendous motorcycle accident in 1983, I had to have 5 flathead screws drilled into my broken Tibia… To this very day, I set off the metal detectors in airports… I don't fly much anymore. Too much of a hassle getting the "wand" from the TSA every time. 😂

At the end of his senior year season, Zak Zinter broke his tibia/fibula. Not the same exact mechanism, but it was still a clean break. Interestingly, he slid to the 3rd round. This didn’t make sense to me because the injury really shouldn’t affect the rest of his career. He was a stud in college at Michigan just like Hutch, hopefully they both have smooth recoveries.

Almost looks like that Lions player was trying to break his leg. Why are you running towards your star pass rusher with your knee up in the air like that? Man were really seeing some awful spatial awareness from a lot of players this year.
In soccer, they have shin guard preventing this from happening. I don't know, maybe in football, we also need this.
