I like that 01 personally. I don't like mallet putters overall…but I could probably use this one.
5:21 when the course uses a full on, road going SUV as the ball picking cart. There are levels too this game. LOL.
The personalization options are a nice touch. I feel these are aimed at a younger crowd, but at 51 myself, I am intrigued by the mallet. What does it say about golf equipment prices these days when my first reaction to you stating the mallet was $320 was “oh, that’s not bad” 😂
No I think you’ve got it bang on about the blade putter. It just looks wrong. It’s neither one thing or the other. It’s like they designed the mallet and then just chopped the tail off. Mallet looks great.
P.S. Not sure you really explained the HIO angle and how they’ve been designed using data.

Just like their balls, they went from above average quality at a great price to overpriced hype with "customization" (as if choosing a few colors is customizing a club) to just overpriced. 400 for a vice mallet??? You're off your guttenburgen rocker.

I own a vgp02 it's spectacular. It is a bit different, but for me it's different to the betterment of golf. Everything was sheets looking and feeling the same . They took it different and it still feels great. My only issue. With the shallow angle and boxy design it's really hard to pick up balls with your putter.

They look cool for sure and seem to be of good quality. They need to work on their marketing and get some influencers on board.

Could you do a comparison between Wilson infinite putter(129.99) line and Wilson staff (349.99) line to show if money really does make a difference on brand name putters

Ricky, yikes. Putters generally have 2-3 degrees of loft. 4 is considered extreme. The Spiders, for instance, come standard at 2.5. So do Evnrolls.
Its just a piece of metal on a stick.

Don't understand the alignment lines on that mallet putter. They look more distracting than helpful. And on a $400 putter?? As my teacher(s) used to say: "Needs Improvement".
I think the color options make their club heads look cheap. As for the grip, with the colors it just looks like an advertising tool. I am not opposed to specific colors for a brand, like Milwaukee tools being red and DeWalt being yellow, but a dozen different colors like Sccy Firearms I associate with cheap.
your voice and music are too close to the same level its drowning out your voice.
They had something going with the Vice balls competing with Kirkland as a cheap but quality product, but they've gone the opposite direction with their clubs.
topography was the word you were looking for. very similar to topology, but definitely have different meanings. topography maps are maps like the greens have that you were mentioning it reminded you of.

I don't like calling that a mallet style. It's a fang style with barely enough material to make it look (not perform) like a mallet. On longer putts that are more likely to miss the center, that miss will be exaggerated. Fang style putters suck
