  1. Get the new ones always, the used balls are always sketchy and inconsistent

  2. pops_of_3

Go with the new ones. The used ones could be anything with new paint on them

the new taylormade. i used recycled balls all the time but i usually pay under $5/dozen

Always go new. Then you actually know what you’re getting.

They could be lake balls that have been repainted and sat in water for 3 months, seconds that didn’t pass the grade. They may be fine, but always go new unless it’s a 200 carry to a front pin over water

Not the refurbished u always get a pond ball that doesn’t fly worth a shit and it can really fuck with your head if u don’t identify it quickly

If the pro v’s are refinished then definitely not them!

  7. flypiratefly

One of my two hole in ones was with a recycled pro v1. It is so disappointing to have that ball on display. Go with new

I have found on golf course many refurbished “Pro V1” balls that were clearly Velocity balls with a Pro V1 label painted on them. Can’t trust those refurbished balls.

Soft response all day, new balls out perform recycled balls almost every time

I don’t even keep refurbished balls I find while playing.

The Taylor Made No question. Ever seen the tests on recycled balls? No consistency at all.

For the price just grab some Srixion Soft Feel, or for a couple more bucks Callaway Super Soft

Refurbished pro-v’s are not usually even pro V’s. I got 2 packs of those and they’re trash! 1 drive and or swi g and the outer shell delaminates. Big waste

I thought the box on the left was some jalapeño flavored snack 😂

  15. I bought used Callaway Chrome Softs. First shot, paint covered my 5-Iron. They don’t feel like quality balls.

Playing the Taylormades now and I like them a lot

  16. JW9thWonder

Brand new > refurbished, even if they are a higher quality ball

    New ones. All day

I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole on golf balls and refurbished ones fall short on performance pretty substantially.

And if your a soft ball kind of golfer, pro v1 of any grade are going to work against you.

I haven’t bought golfballs in such a long time. Had a sale on these Callaway pink chrome supersofts. The boxes had gotten damaged in shipping so they put them in a legit 5 gallon bucket and sold it for cheap. I got better at golf and now consistently maybe lose a ball or two a round.

I find my balls in the woods…. not good enough for a box haha
