After years of playing with hand me down and second hand clubs, I finally bought my first new set. Cobra Fly XL. Going to sort out a club membership next and get a handicap.
You’re gonna love them! I’ve had them for a little over 6 months and they’ve been awesome!
Drop a couple hundred bucks on a nice push cart and you’re set!

Great starter set. I loved mine and thought I was Cobra for life …

Not bad, that’s way better than my first set of founders clubs!

I’d take the plastic off other than that welcome to anger, disappointment, and financial ruin.
What a game we play

Congratulations! Great days ahead, it’s all downhill from here!

My first set was the cobra king vt which is basically these except they’re youth size. The thing is I was a 6’3 adult when I bought them and had no idea that they were youth size. I’m sure the salesmen at dicks had a nice laugh after I left. They were great clubs to start with though. Still use the 3 wood and sand wedge

Nice, always an exciting thing. When you gonna take them out?

I had this same set a few years back. It’s a solid set of clubs and they’re super forgiving. I sold them to a buddy who was just getting into golf and he loves them! Good choice!!

Congrats! Enjoy the new clubs, and the ensuing financial ruin of this addiction!

Nice! Now if you’re new at golf, invest in lessons. Nothing else. No fancy shirts, expensive rounds, quality golf balls. Lessons only.

I’ve been playing for 30 years and I still have never had a new set of clubs.

Solid set. Enjoy

My first set after retiring and getting back into the game after 35 years. Loved the irons, they were the last to get replaced. Hybrids and fairway woods will serve you well. Driver is meh. Use it for a while then look to upgrade to a new 2-3 year old model (like an Airojet) for a couple hundred bucks and you’ll be very happy for a few years. I got used to the putter and still have it in my bag.

Wow… beautiful…
Still waiting for fresh clubs myself.

How do you like the cobra irons? Been eyeing them myself

Just remember this….its not the arrow, it’s the Indian. Congratulations

Congratulations! Get your handicap, that way you can play with anyone and see your improvement. Wear out the short irons and putter! Short game, short game, short game!!! That’s the key to lowering your scores. Best!

Love my Cobras. Many will call these starter clubs but they are really nice and the new driver they have is on par with many of the “top tier” drivers
