Definitely not an expert but I think your takeaway is fine but the fact that you’re single-planed is the issue, meaning you need to get more shallow on the down swing. Same issue I am having now too. I hope others chime in to help out (and correct me if I am wrong please)

yeah you’re a bit steep… you got some good things going on here…. I’ve been working with a good coach online… he will analyze your swing for $28, give you feedback and things to work on. IG Ben Wharton

Takeaway is fine but your tempo needs work. You’re throwing your hands up and throwing them back down too quickly which is causing you to lose momentum. You’re using a lot of energy to reverse the club rather than putting that energy into your downswing – I hope that makes sense.

Outside takeaway and over the top. Need better hand path. . Hip pivot could use some work also.

You need more depth

You have great **width** (how far the hands are away from your body), but I think you need more **depth** (how far behind you the hands are in the backswing). Look at the pic of Tiger here. See how at the top of his backswing the club head almost aligns and points at his trail ankle. You don’t create as much depth, which subsequently forces you to have a steep down swing. Nothing wrong with that, look at JT for example. I’m not a pga pro, but you can add more depth if you turn your hips more and get your trail hip higher, again see tiger below.
