You have all been asking for it, so here we go. The first of four in our Bridgestone Tour Lineup review. The RXS is meant for the under 105 MPH crowd who are seeking more spin. That has been me lately.

  1. Good review Nick. I had a feeling you'd like that ball overall. Really surprised at the lack of spin on your putting green though. It reacts more like the Maxfli Straightfli, lots of release. I've been playing the prior generation of the B RX. I'm not paying $50/dozen. More on that on the next video. See ya then.

  2. I bought a sleeve and played this ball this past weekend. I was surprised how soft it was, but it also came off hot. I definitely noticed the distance difference. Manged to play the same ball for 18, and it held up pretty well. I thought it spun pretty well around the greens. Will definitely play this ball again.

  3. Ive been using the vice tour. I need the extra control but have plenty of green spin so its working great and i like the feel.

  4. Hi Nick. Pleased to see you trying these balls. When I lived in the UK before retiring to Thailand I used the Bridgestone ball. My handicap was 7. Really liked them. Now at my age and with my pension I cannot really afford to pay the price, hence I still use the Inesis 900. No doubt Bridgestone make a terrific golf ball. Got to agree with you that the aid to line up the ball and dots to assist striking the ball should be on the cheaper beginners balls. To be using these balls your quality of play should be decent but would help the beginer concentrate a little more.

  5. The cover was revamped for 2024. Tiger Woods even changed from the BXS to the BX this year, saying that the distance ball provided enough spin for him.

I see this ball being a great ball for a senior golfer. They say <105 MPH, I think it’s closer to <95 MPH for the R models. I feel like you’re going to see slightly better results with the BRX, but the BXS and BX will blow you away.

  6. I only like these balls in colors as they really pop when looking for them. But it’s not worth $50. Plus, do these perform better than the e12…at almost half the price?

  7. YES!! The Bridgestone reviews! Love these balls! So many reasons why they're the only ball I want to play right now. The Tour BXS and BX are unreal! The dimple pattern is a bit strange but once you play these balls you'll forget all about it. They're also the most consistently straight ball I've ever played. For a high spinning ball, it doesn't punish you too severely for miss hits. Glad you're coming around to them! Lmao

  8. The characteristics of RXS has not changed for years. I stopped playing this ball due to NO/LOW spin off itons.

Another long iron/short driver ball. Not for me.

However, I look forward to RX that I played for a while.

  9. Im sure there are plenty of us including myself who don’t watch the ball long enough though the strike zone 😂

  10. Hey. I used to play this ball, but here in Norway it went up in price, and it was much rarer on sale, so I switched it even though it was very good. Playing Titleist AVX now. Got a great price on it, and it consistent and feel great. I know also Wilson makesgreatballs, but price here are up with the Titleist and Bridgestone. Avx was about 50% cheaper when I bought it.
