Hi I’m Rick Shiels, welcome to my channel RickShielsPGAGolf. This YouTube channel is designed to help you play better golf, also to help you enjoy your golf more!
I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

Callaway makes way too many irons. I get it they purchased Hogan for Apex, but they just have too much junk (mavrik, smoke, apex, fusion, rogue st, and other crap)

The biggest question I feel is, what do you gain from the AI300 over the Paradym Ai Smoke irons since it feels that they are both aimed at the Game Improvement market but the Apex irons are considerably more expensive.
I probably watched your OG cf16 Apex iron review 100 times and eventually bought them. Still happy I bought em 10 yrs ago
Wasn't impressed by the pros this last release granted only tried them in a fitting but ball speed was down mph I loved the pro 21 and pro 19 but pro 24 left something to be desired
One thing I wanna see on the HIT channel is more grip reviews.
Rick should and is primed to review all the grips on the market – putter especially. Don’t need to be really long videos but one thing I think would be nice to see is brand compares.

Club reviews are great but with how often new clubs are released you really are just showing the exact same video as last time but with a rebranded club.
Grip reviews are honestly untouched and are the literal focal point in a golf swing. We need a golf grip to swing the club properly so why is there a lack of grip reviews.

These irons are rich for my blood… I will stick to my DTC and budget irons.. but I do need a golf simulator like Rick has for the Midwest winter and the sleepless nights when I am thinking about my swing. Lol
Now I’m playing the callaway Diablo edge . Old yes tired newer clubs just couldn’t hit them as well because of the loft i think and having to find new ball position or am I just talking rubbish don’t know as not an expert want to up grade but just not sure on what to look into buying any advice PS off 18

No clubs have actually improved in years. Being good at golf is about your swing nothing to do with the club. It's all marketing BS. Make the lofts lower, make the club longer and harder to hit and then tell people they need GI irons because they can't hit blades. Hand them a 29 degree 7 iron and then watch them get confused as to why they are putting massive slice spin on it. This isn't golf.
Most people I speak with about these clubs just refer to them as the Apex 200's or 300's, the Callaway portion is just assumed when you say Apex. I play the new Apex Pros. I prefer the lesser amount of offset and they are less throng lofted.
The AI 200's are some of the best looking irons I've seen released in the last several years.
No. They are cooked. They should stick with what they are good at and focus on Woods and Odyssey

I like watching club reviews like this but if I wanted new irons I would be choosing between the different direct to consumer brands.
