In the mid-90s, I was a young and ambitious golfer when I had the incredible fortune of crossing paths with Moe Norman, the greatest ball-striker the world has ever seen. Moe, with his unconventional wisdom and unique approach to the game, took me under his wing. From 1994 to 2004,

I embarked on a journey of discovery and transformation, learning the intricacies of Moe’s revolutionary single plane golf swing.

His lessons were often cryptic, shrouded in mystery, and they challenged everything I thought I knew about golf—and myself. Moe’s teachings weren’t just about mastering a swing; they were about unlocking a deeper connection to the game, one rooted in simplicity, precision, and an unwavering belief in oneself.

As I struggled to decipher Moe’s cryptic wisdom, I began to realize that the secrets of the single plane swing were far more profound than I had ever imagined. They held the key to a consistent and effortless golf swing, a way of playing that defied conventional wisdom and had the potential to revolutionize the sport.

Driven by a newfound purpose, I dedicated my life to unraveling the mysteries of Moe Norman’s teachings. I became a torchbearer for Moe’s legacy, determined to share this knowledge with the world. Through my relentless pursuit, I not only perfected the single plane swing but also transformed the lives of countless golfers, helping them achieve a level of consistency and confidence they never thought possible.

This is my story—from a student to a master, from a pupil to a prophet—and my mission to carry forward the wisdom of a golfing genius whose teachings continue to inspire and challenge the world of golf.

About the Single Plane Golf Swing

The Single Plane golf swing is not a quick fix golf technique. It is a system, beginning at address, that simplifies the most important moment of the golf swing – impact.

Starting at address on two planes where the arms hang straight down at address, the Conventional golf swing is complicated. Because the arms are hanging straight down, a conventional golfer must lift the body into impact creating stress on the back.

This upward movement to accommodate the two planes is unnecessary.

The Single Plane Golf swing simplifies the golf swing by eliminating the need for the upward movement by starting and impacting on the same plane.

  1. RIP Moe we the younger generation really missed out not having you around but I am beyond appreciative to have people keeping your legacy and energy making an impact longer after his flesh . Wishing everyone happiness and Health . Stay blessed

  2. Can’t believe I have golfed for 50 years now, and after learning this swing from your book and videos I am playing the best golf I ever played. Took some time to put all the mechanics together but I believe I finally have put it together.

  3. I’ve tried this and 200yd max drives and irons are high apex and short distances. The hips have to move to get power. IMO

  4. did you ever ask Moe how he learned to swing when he was first starting out? did he first learn a conventional swing and then change it on his own, or did he figure all of it out by himself? or did he see someone else swinging on a single plane?
