  1. Mazur only one ready for the NHL and he will start in AHL, any other ideas and well you are wrong. And yes I have not watched yet

  2. I like the reasonable take on Holl. Not a bad defenseman, just overpaid and that's not his fault. Serviceable if required. Better than the backup options the Wings have had in the past

  3. First let me give credit to Max for an excellent article, great read.
I share his and your thoughts on what the RW line up will look like.

I don't think Mazur, Kasper or Nate will take a spot partly because none of them have shown that they are better than anyone else. As well as the work that would be required of management to complete it all is a bigger project than many people think (Asset Management).

Is the profit really greater than the investment of the collected resources worth the trouble of doing it, No is my answer. All three are given better conditions in GR than in RW's, regardless of where they would be slotted in today. Max states that Husso would probably be sacrificed to make room. And RW will have to do something about the extremely expensive press stand the team already has today regardless of what happens with the three.

The 24/25 season may simply be a season where the RW front office chooses not to make too many changes to the lineup, but rather lets the season play itself out. An administrative year quite simply where the aim is not to solve the headache but to prevent you from getting chronic migraines down the road.

A normal arrangement of 4 steps, pre-season, start, TDL and last play "meaningful games" until the end of the season. A melody that we as fans have been hearing for the last few years. The big difference is all the contracts are terminated and phased out naturally once the 24/25 season is over. It gives RW better resources to retool the rebuild, which will continue for the next few years.

It is here that Mazur, Kasper, Nate and Co have the best conditions to take a part in future RW:

  4. Gustafsson was god awful. I also saw he hasn't scored a regular season power play goal in 8 seasons!?

  5. I think Compher had trouble getting back up to speed after his injury. He seemed to lose some jump in his step so hopefully they off season with Kane was productive.

  6. Debrincat Larkin Raymond
    Tarasenko Compher Kane
    Kasper Copp Mazur
    Rasmussen Veleno Fischer
    Motte Berggren

    Chairot Seider
    Edvinsson Petry
    Gustafsson Johansson
    Holl

    Husso
    Talbot

Maatta and lyon traded. My lineup for the first week into the season

  7. Ive got danielson in GR regardless, give him pro experience in the ahl.
Kasper and mazur though look to be knocking down the door.
Its a double edge sword with this team, i hate how they never leave room for a rookie, but i love the competition.
I dont see motte or fischer being displaced because they are specialty players here for a reason shutdown players that thrive on the PK.
Veleno, berggren and copp are the guys who should be looking over their shoulder.
If berggrens 2way game still isnt where lalonde wants it, and one of kasper or mazur is, im very curious what they do.
I like copp, i dont take issue like many fans do, but at what point is his contract not worth his role. If kasper is giving you a solid 2way game and he has more upside than copp, you gotta move on and get these kids in.

  8. Putting berggren on a 4th line is nonsensical. Best thing Yzerman can do is move veleno and put copp as an expensive 4c for 3 years . He fucked up . Is what it is

Is much rather go with a younger 3rd line of mazur kasper Berggren or Rasmussen kasper Berggren and go with Rasmussen copp Fischer motte on the 4th and copp Fischer get penalty kill time. Putting Berggren on the 4th line with scrubs and then complain he’s not producing is laughable. Veleno won’t be here longterm, move him now unless you find a taker for copp with retention

Time to play the kids . We’ll be lucky to get a player to produce 40 pts out of a Rasmussen copp Fischer 3rd line

  9. With there being so many funny and creative names, you 3 MUST find time in a show to rank your top 3-5 Patron Names 🙏🏼

  10. As much of an I-94 log jam out roster is I think leaving Mazur, Danielson and Kasper down to see if they can run it back to get the Calder then I think thats best regardless of age. If they run it back and it reassures you they can hang in the NHL and you bring them up to help solidify the bottom 6 next year to start a youth movement progression.

  11. edvinsson with that annoying long stick and reach, could become into the most annoying defenseman to play against since lidstrom and chara. i also liked albert johansson skating in the preseason, he looks effective out there. if he could turn into a simple playing guy, i would play him over other guys.
