If you got those red grips out at my club, they would send you down the hill to the Royal, they have members that would bag such things. You would need sun glasses on before gripping them, not that anyone would.
That 16 degree hybrid was my favourite club back in the day, stupid long, straight, easy to hit off the deck and magnificent into the wind.

Used to have a Sonartec fairway, the older heads were tiny.. never munched it though and 2021 T100 irons too new, I've got the 2023 ones … Laugh a minute 😊
I always wanted a set of Lynx Black Cat irons, with the rubber insert around the cavity. Probably not even all that great, but sure looked cool 🤙
Sonartec actually went out of business due to an inability to fill orders after Hamilton won the Open. They had an agreement with Royal Collection to make a small number of clubs for them annually and when the orders hit RC was not in a position to increase the volume. Rather sad but Sonartec had no choice but to close shop
Man as a teenager i was gaming a Maxfli Noodle ball and Titleist NXTs and they were great!
Either I'm having a Deja Vu moment or able to predict the future, but I am sure I have seen this before. Maybe mixing up choosing the gear. 'Must agree, Gary choosing the T200's, he must have socks or underpants older than those irons.

James I had my very first hole in one on 9-25-24 with my srixon zx5 9 iron from 117 yds into the wind. Hit a little chippy shot, one bounce and in. Screamed all the way running to the green. 2 of my buddies with me witnessed it.
Had that 16 degree hybrid in my bag since I bought it. If this is a throwback episode makes me think I need to upgrade

If either you remember for the next used club challenge, look for pre-owned Scratch Golf irons/wedges. Probably some of the softest forged irons ever, 1018 steel…beautiful looking clubs (possibly cheap now)

How about testing some old "Tour Only" clubs from the mid-late 90s/early 2000s, from like TM, Adam's ect.
