I just shot the best round of my life (83) with these rental clubs.

I usually shoot about 100. Should I buy a new driver?

Or just track down and buy an exact copy of every club in that bag

Well, those are some great quality rental clubs. The last time I rented some clubs they were made by Head and were probably 30 years old.

  3. As rental sets go, some current gen stuff is rare. Probably means you need to update. Go get fit with someone reputable.

  4. Brilliant mate. A lot of the game is mental as you know. I wouldn’t be so quick to go buy an Ai Smoke, but could look into modernizing a bit.

you ALWAYS shoot the best golf with clubs that aren’t yours. Then when they become yours, those results just magically disappear

You should ask them what shaft is in that driver

The shaft is more important than he head

Quick, shove em in your trunk and drive away!

I play with Mixuno JPX forged irons and I love them

It’s late season. You might get a deal

TFW when the rental clubs just hit. Then you gotta give them back and cry back at your hotel later on

  15. Just take em home. Tell the DMV your license was lost and you can get them to print you a new one. Save yourself like a grand easy peasy!

Happens to me a lot. I’m always relaxed and destressed on vacation so I could probably still shoot my PB using a set of used junior lefty clubs.
