Awesome Golf Simulator just got a huge new update! Here are my initial reactions and my honest first impressions to this fantastic simulator software!
Here’s the approximate ball speed reduction according to ball lie (does not equate to distance reduction):
Semi-Rough – 10%
Rough – 20%
Fairway Bunker – 25%
Pine Straw – 30%
Greenside Bunker – 50%
The spin is also adjusted, the biggest reductions in spin are from the rough and pine straw.

Omg!!! I’m excited! I currently play about 8 hrs a week @ work and it’s all on AG. I am thrilled about this update and this will only enhance my play.

I just downloaded the update after getting an email from Awesome Golf. I wondered if anyone had reviewed the update yet and I think you're the first! I liked your review and agree with all the points you make. To add to your suggestions, it would be good if you could preview the whole course in the 3d flyover mode before playing it. Also, to be able to replay each hole flyover as you don't always take it in the first time. Overall, a great update which might now persuade me to buy the lifetime licence. Btw the Emirates course now has hole descriptions.
Thinking of buying the R10 as the prices are coming down. Do you know if there is a new Garmin launch monitor coming out soon thats worth holding out for? Great channel.
