Titleist Customer Service Story

Bought 4 dozen Titleist balls through the buy 3 get 1 free program that most brands do at the beginning of the season. Working my way through that order and pulled out a sleeve to mark them up before a round and noticed one of the balls had some strange blemishes on them and even was missing some dimples.

Reached out to Titleist to see if they’d send me a replacement sleeve or maybe a discount on a fresh dozen. Customer service was excellent and offered to ship a free dozen. Get the shipping notification that it’s being sent next day, which I thought was a nice added touch. The shipment arrived the next day and it looks like they just replaced the entire order of 4 dozen.

Not sure if this was a mistake or just a next level customer service experience. Either way, they earned my loyalty for the foreseeable future.

  1. It was certainly an error. Please DM me and I’ll send you an address to send back one dozen. 🤣

Almost enough to get through the weekend! Yes!

  3. A couple of years ago I bought a Scotty Cameron and it had a few blemishes/rust spots. I emailed them about it and within a day or two there was a brand new one at my door before they had even responded to my email. For a week or so I wasn’t sure if they even wanted the other one back lol. I’ve always loved their products but their customer service just makes the brand that much better imo.

Man that’s class by Titleist, AVX are so underrated as well.

  5. I love little mixups like this. Like, I once bought a $2 pack of rolling papers off Amazon. It was scheduled for next day delivery and got delayed. Not surprised. However when it showed up two days later I noticed the delivery was much bigger than I was expecting. Much bigger and heavier. Turned out throughout the confusion some packer didn’t know what they should do with a sealed case and just sent the whole thing to me. Now you would be like “I get the mistake. He got a pack of 24 instead of just 1.”

    No.

I received a sealed box of 4 displays. Each holding 24 packages of rolling papers. Totaling 96 packages of rolling papers. For $2.

Somebody was just not in the mood that day.

How do you like the avx? Do you notice a lower ball flight?

I use the leftdash currently, but thinking of making the switch next order

Tried one of these today, really no different than the tru feel I hit regularly, but more expensive I think. Tru feel is still the best Titleist ball for the money, in my opinion.

Former golf store employee here. Callaway and titleist customer service is awesome. I have more experience with Callaway but once I worked in golf, Callaway became my default brand. I play one Taylor made club and it’s a ten year old rbz 3w. Tried to get rid of it. I can’t. I have two shafts with adapters waiting for a Callaway 3w to take its spot.

Since you received them so quickly I’m assuming they weren’t shipped usps.

Love Titleist, always been a solid brand. This just proves they still keep their word on showing why they are who they are in the golf community

Same experience. I bought four dozens of Pro V1, but they all pulled left.

After some discussion with their customer support, I got 4 new dozens in the mail. They still go left, bit at least they tried.

You act as if you will have a relationship with them longer than a month.

Having toured the Titleist ball plant and interacted with the staff they are just unbelievable nice and genuine with the way they treat customers.

I also loved they are still being made in the same area they originally were up in Mass still today

I got 2 boxes of topflites on sale on dicks. Don’t judge, they’re cheap so it’s nbd if I lose them and I don’t spend more time looking for then

Anyway I bought these two boxes but when they arrived they had 2 proV1 sleeves with them. I was very confused but found a note that said “sorry about the boxes. Here are free balls – fulfillment.” Then I saw that the topflight boxes were a little roughed up, but really not anything more than a few dents and rips, but the balls were fine.

    Thanks Dicks fulfillment.

Pop zxefftt I understand that is too funny the story

Why didn’t you get Pro V1’s so I can gather them after you play.

Wow that must be nice Taylor made had a similar program at the start of the year for custom balls. They sent me a mix of like 3 different custom balls none mine.

They needed photos of each of the different balls had to reorder what I wanted and they wanted the miss print balls back and it took another 2-3weeks. I’ll never buy custom anything from that company again. Glad these guys made it great for you!

Callaway is great too. I ordered a pair of shorts. They delivered 2 pairs. They told me to keep both.

Keeping a customer happy by sending you extra costs them nothing but gains them a lot! Nice score, and good on them!

  20. PattyIceNY

When they cost like 25 cents to make and sell for 3$, they can afford to give out a few free ones 😉

Resending four dozen is not a big deal. I mean that’s only like 2-3 rounds of golf 🤣
