Athletic wear for women has come a long way, offering plenty of room for fashion, but the Ladies Professional Golf Association is reportedly tightening its dress code significantly for female golfers. According to Golf Digest, an email from LPGA player president Vicki Goetze-Ackerman was sent on July 2 to players listing the new dress code rules. The guidelines, which include prohibitions on plunging necklines and skirt and short lengths, quickly sparked outrage on social media with many calling the rules sexist and unfair.
