Freddie without knowing convinced me to buy a 9w.

I struggle with hybrids bad though and my woods are only good for nice lies. Maybe it’s just in my head but they are always line drives or push/slices.

I’ve considered trying something like this. I love my 3 and 4 hybrids.

I’ve got ol Freddie beat – my longest iron is an 8

My old man has zero irons, not even a wedge. He almost got an ace on a 137 yard par 3 with an 11 wood. Carries a chipper, if he ends up in a bunker he just quits the hole

If you’ve got a bad back, the longer shafts on the higher lofts mean you don’t have to swing as hard.

Fucking love Freddie. He was my grandma’s favorite golfer and I always root for him at the Masters.

His swing might be the best of all time. It’s just so damn smooth and so effortlessly clean.

He’s also 65 now so if you hit it further than 260 off the tee carry some irons

And he still hits his 7 iron farther than I do (37 years old). Love his magic swing.

I am currently rocking 3 wood, 3 H, 5 H for my long clubs. Kinda think 5 wood might be easier to hit than 3 wood. But pretty good with hybrids

Just bought a 7 wood and I am seriously considering a 9 wood. Also with the 7W played the best round of my life

I only carry up to a 6i, hybrids from about 165-225. My swing works better for hybrid / wood for whatever reason.
