I’ve been using mine for 3 years, and it doesn’t look anything like that.

Was it leaking bug spray or spf lotion?

I had the Player 3 for 4 years and outside of me forgetting to strap it on a cart and it flying off one time… it was in perfect shape

Yep, it looks like complete trash. Send it to me and I’ll dispose of that for you.

It’s not so much the damage to the cheap leather and the $400 price tag as much as it’s the non existent customer service on a bag that’s marketed as premium. I sent a handful of emails and messages via their website and thus far have had no response from them going on 3 weeks. Add to that the dividers that keep the club shafts separated inside the bag are ripped to shreds after only a few months. The I regret my decision to purchase this bag. I wouldn’t recommend vessel bags to anyone.

The new ones are definitely lower quality. Hence all the “my bag from X years ago is great”

Look average as too

My GoHimal bag from Amazon looks better.

FINALLY, SOMEONE ELSE WHO AGREES WITH ME!! Yes, Vessel golf bags are pieces of shit. My STAND BAG doesn’t stand. Customer service was condescending AF and told me to lean it in a corner. I pointed them to their own website which shows the bag standing. They finally mailed out another…which leans to the left. And don’t get me started on their stupid “rotator base” which serves no purpose but to make the bag unsteady and forcibly rearranges your clubs and gives them bag chatter just from putting the fucking thing down.
Vessel golf bags are pleather shit.

It’s a shame that some have had bad experiences. I got a LUX XV cart bag in white for Christmas and when I started using it a couple months later the stitching tore up.
Sent them one email with some pictures and a description and they replied back pretty quickly saying “yep no problem we’ll ship you a new one” and that one has been great
Tom_Foolery2
I have this same bag and really love it. Quality is great. Looks sharp. Yall sit here and encourage people to play 20 year old clubs and forage for balls then roast people for having a nice bag. Idk what y’all’s issue is.

Sorry for all the headaches with Vessel, and thank you for posting. You have done a good public service by posting and consider it taking one for the team.

OGIO bags have treated me well. They specialize in making bags and luggage, that’s what they do. The ones I’ve owned have lasted a long time with heavy use (5-6 years or so, ~80 rounds per year) and have held up well.

How old is this bag ????
Unfortunately, you don’t know your materials. Vessel does not use leather. It’s leatherette…. You’re saying it became this way after a few months ? My bags are 5 years old, and still in much better condition than yours.
But yes. You have to understand it’s leatherette, a significantly more delicate material than leather.

Mine is five years old and looks damn near new.

Not even sure what’s happening there. I have a LUX XV (year old) that I bang around a lot(in and out of the truck), 3-4 days a week and it’s been great. I’m disappointed to read about the lack of customer service.
Degenerate_golfer
Sucks that your bag isn’t standing up like you expected.
I’ve had my Player III for about three years and it’s still in amazing shape.

i don’t ever post on here but here’s another comment for how bad vessel’s customer service has been.
my bag has gone through multiple discoloration and they say that they won’t do anything, and they suggested that I buy a cart strap which I already have.
nothing to help just buy this other item
they won’t help and they have terrible customer service – won’t be purchasing another one from them ever again.
it’s sad because I feel like their product should be one of the better ones but when you have crappy service, you don’t get happy customers and repeat business won’t happen down the line.
simple business 101.
i’ll be checking out jones or going back to sun mountain.
