    Can any wt guys watching this tell me why every single one fights with their hands directly by their sides?

    Is it a strategic thing or just feels better to kick the way they do with them down because its like every single guy in wt fights this way… I dont get it, not throwing shade btw.

    In the olden days of the 1980s when we were training and sparring in California, and fighting in tournaments it was the real deal. What's happening now is not like fighting at all.

    So what was that? Just another proof that TKD has changed into a totally pathetic sport, as not a single one of these actions had any real impact on the opponent. It's simply ridiculous. And I may say that as I am a 5th degree TKD black belt who fought in the 80s and 90s, when TKD was a true full contact sport.

    CJ Nicolas has very good execution of his kicks. He is developing more & more. For a modern tkd style fighter, CJ is definitely "TOPS." May CJ have much success in his endeavors as a tkd fighter….Ambassador Everett

    I hate how Taekwondo is portrayed in sport especially the Olympic Games

    No Defense,
    Hands hanging by sides,
    No hand weapon attack,
    Long tall players that retreat instead of close, where hand work is very effective,
    Northern Korea is home of this style and there is a much higher percentage of kicking but not only kicking,
