Who or what needs water more than yua'll ?
Crops right ? But they pretty much waste water worse than any other land management practice to date .
So how bout getting farming and golfing together ?>
Set up the central drainage basin with greening practices … which we will clean and collect the water.
Then the land above its water shed is used for crops … which the golf course or other municipal use … has its ponds/lakes then feed the farm … which trickles into the grass area that retains and cleans the water again .
So start setting up farming ventures at some golf courses … and start setting up a lot of community use property / golf courses with a water shed reclamation/storage/greened Acreage Area !?! Inside of farming ventures ^^^~ …
to the USGA about club length ruling….do as you will sounds good to me. BUT….if you want to make a difference with distance…MAKE THE PROs FIND THEIR OWN BALLS LIKE THE REST OF US. they can just WAIL at it with almost no consequence. having people find their ball for them. make them prove their skill and make them keep the ball in the fairway. I think THAT would be HUGE.
