How far can a human swim non-stop? No sleep, no rest and no touching land. On June 16, 2024, we wanted to find out and embarked on a 510km (317 mile) non-stop swim down the Yukon River (Canada) in water temperatures as low as 8°C (46.4°F). Now ratified as an Official Guinness World Record, the entire adventure was only made possible by the heroics of the team who protected me from bears, wolves and hypothermia and navigated me through rapids, currents and log jams. One of the greatest crews ever assembled, I hope you enjoy this documentary that was 100% directed, filmed AND edited entirely by James Perrett who was 1 of these 16 HEROES: Christopher J Morgan, Ger Kennedy and Thomas Walter Kofler, Larry Bonnett, Brian Earl, Liam Parfitt, Stan Fordyce, Scott Edgley, Hester Sabery, Dr Tom Hall, Stephen O’Brien, Eric Bonnett, John Robertson, Raymond Kmyta, Shannon Kmyta and Sherrie Earl.

★ Lastly (but equally as important) I want to say a HUGE thank you to Guinness World Records, World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA), World Open Water Swimming Federation (WOWF) and the Marathon Swimming Federation, since I’m very aware my strange swims exist outside of the realms of conventional swimming, so your help and support to make this an official world record is MASSIVELY appreciated as we collectively push the boundaries of open-water swimming into new unchartered water.

  5. Ross, you will stay in history. You have one problem, you CAN'T STOP FROM NOW ON. With a 1 hour video, you have insprired one million people with your energy and smile, taking them with you in your journey! I dont have words to describe what you achieved, really. I never congratulate someone who dont deserve it, but YOU DESERVE IT MORE THAN ANYONE. 7. My friend Danny wants to know how fast the flow of the river was? And why you decided to do it downstream instead of upstream?

  8. Amazing inspiration man, I genuinely love this !! You gave me motivation to do the small stuff that I have been running away from, cause what you have done right now after 2 "failed" attempts which i believe are actual successes and lessons, is awesome, and history will hold !! Thank you man <3 God Bless you !

  9. What I find fascinating, nowhere close to as amazing as what we saw here in this video, is that 1M+ has liked this video. Not because it's not impressive. But because in my world, no one had talked about it or mentioned it before. 1M+ people in this world and yet, it took me 7 days to come across it because I was curious about longest length swam-non-stop. Way to make 1M+ sound small. 😅 much love to the community.

  10. Dude you are awesome! If I can help volunteer or just be there next time I would love to be a part of your next yukon experience thanks for sharing excellence ❤

  11. SPEECHLESS 🔱🥧 massive congrats you legend you did it!!!

  12. I have followed and participated extreme sports my entire life, this is the single most incredible achievement I have ever been privileged enough to witness through this amazing film.
