  1. Max was the only guy to show up at the Ryder Cup…why wouldn’t you want him. And JT was 19th. Love him but he didn’t deserve a spot. Come on man!!!

  2. If that's what constitutes a diatribe, you guys need to take the Golf Channel handcuffs off, and give real opinions. "Cohese?"…try cohere.

  3. I like the mixed team idea. Is it not true that a womens team from Japan, Korea, Australia, Thailand, and Australia would completely destroy either the current USA or European Solheim cup team?

  4. I get not picking JT. But the zig move there is to pick Dunlap or Bhatia, not Homa. If you are after emotion and experience, Horschel.

  5. great points made in this one. yes, Furyk is not confident. but i feel otherwise. the top of the order (1-9) is stacked and IN FORM. there is no way i don't take Nick Dunlap and Akshay Bhatia.

  6. These are the same stooges that defended the JT pick last year.

The homa pick feels like the same situation , but just not in favor of their boy.

I’m rooting for the us to win JUST to shut up these two.

  7. Furyk did it right by going with the top 12 according to the official world golf rankings. This isn’t a popularity contest and these professionals do not need a “hype man leader” to get them motivated to play. Arguments can be made for or against any one of the golfers ranked 10 through 50.

  8. This event needs to change up how many points are played for. There are too many matches and the Internationals can't compete!

  9. The US has benefited from the pissing contest. The boys are right as people dont want to admit if LIV players could play the presidents cup it would be worth watching. Ill watch it but im sure it will be boring af. I can understand the International picks. I have a problem with the US picks. I would have taken the top 10 Akshay Bhatia and Nick Dunlap. Does Jim not want to set up for the future? Felt like he was phoning it in cause its been the same song and dance, US has been a dominant team on paper cause of LIV not being allowed to play. Ryder cup is a different story.

  10. Norman picked Scott when he was at the bottom of a long curve of playing badly, and that helped Adam immensely…Jim is supporting Max in a similar way, and I like it. 👍

  11. Let the Liv guys play on the Int team, you’ve immediately got some interest from everyone, and some genuine animosity for once.

  12. International fans care about the event !! But I can't blame the Americans for thinking so considering the fact that the USA team is so dominant.

  13. It's important for the countries that belong to the presidents cup team such as Australian , South Africans , Koreans etc ..
also you shouldn't be surprised with Adam Scott's attitude … as aussies we are used to being underdogs ..

I agree though it's a real shame just when it was getting close and than the Liv thing happened . Bc having those few Liv players not being able to play really does hurt the international team more than the USA team .

Also the international team should play the European team every second year and the USA team every second year

  14. I can't speak for other non-US and EUR countries but in South Africa the golfing community really seems to love the President Cup.
SA Captains like Els and Immelman helped with that.
I would love to see the LIV guys (go Stingers!) involved but zero chance of that.

  15. Did i hear you say JT is a generational talent? Perhaps you need to learn what that term means, Tiger and Jack are generational not JT i shut your dribble off after hearing that

  16. You are stooges. Can't wait to revisit this in a month when Homa fires. JT must be on your payroll? The last two President's Cup events have been really exciting, particularly in 2019. So insulting for the International guys. AND Min Woo Lee was alive during Royal Melbourne in 1998.

  17. Can Davis was robbed. He earned a spot by ranking and he was one of the only sparks for INT last time around. ——- media only seems to focus on the American teams, This was a blatant snub

  18. Too many JT fanboys. Hes like a Robert Horry level player. Nice games but not a HOF. Dude didn’t earn a spot. The end

  19. First, love that Furyk wasn’t a puppet and spineless like Last Ryder cup captain. Like that he made decisions based on his own views. Cheering for Furyk. Other than that, not really caring on the picks. PGA has become uninteresting and continued bickering and criticizing picks perpetuates that. JT is currently overrated and Furyk obviously thinks so too. What’s wrong with trying new guys to see if they step up under pressure. 2021 Ryder cup is where Scheffler was picked and he said the team’s confidence in him gave him confidence and that’s what started his amazing 3 year run. These two guys are good old boy homers. Them backing Damon and Eamon says it all.

  20. Keegan’s great but bmw was his only top 10 finish in last 10 tourneys. Personally I woulda taken Akshay and billy ho over harman and keegan. Let keegan prep for Ryder cup coaching duties. Homa pick I don’t mind brings that passion and fire every time he wears stars and stripes
