Rory McIlroy shares honest admission over rivals Scheffler and Schauffele
Despite currently holding the third spot in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), Rory McIlroy remains humble about his 2024 campaign, trailing behind Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele who occupy the top two positions.
McIlroy kicked off the year on a high note with a win at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the DP World Tour in January.
He also bagged two PGA Tour titles this year, clinching victories at the Wells Fargo Championship and the Zurich Classic alongside Shane Lowry.
However, being a man of high expectations, McIlroy admits that he hasn’t been performing at his best.
