  1. Best video I have ever seen on your channel Liam!! my advice get a new partner cos that lad that looks like Phelan was rubbish.

Great day plenty of fun and all in good humour, cant wait for the next one.

  2. Hi Liam. been away on work few days. catching up with vlogs. Old Man Pat vlog , what a player and a gent. (keep it in play and killer short game, lesson for us all). Your just keeping this game together. I remember the milky bar kid. he was a nice little cowboy. who would have thought he would grow up to be a right Bandit. ( over to Andy's channel the milky bars might be on you? ) couple of great vlogs pal.

  3. Another "blah blah blah" golfer. Can you not shut up for just 10 seconds whilst people take their shot?

  4. As I've said once before, do these bandits take us for fools? It's insulting that they think we don't notice? Don't they realize we play with true 14 markers? and true single figure markers? and true 20+ handicappers. It's not that difficult to place people in a handicap range by just the way they play and what sort of shots they can pull off regularly. I'm so over em. CHEATS!!!!!!

  5. For me, Liam, it’s just as much fun to watch you and your mates play as it is to watch world-class pros on the TV. But you hand us a lot more laughs. And display joy in the greatest of games! Three cheers!

  6. In around 1975/6 went on a society day at Hawkstone but had my leg in plaster so could not play. So was watching a young man chipping into his umbrella in the rain. Went into the proshop to buy a club ball marker and remarked to the pro how dedicated the lad was, practicing in the rain. Yes he said that's my son Alexander the pros name Mr Lyle that's whatcyou need to d

  7. These are my favorite golf videos by far, because most of us average golfers can relate to them like myself. I don't think Iv'e seen better lies in the rough than you guys get.

  8. golf mates paul here , I just wondered if you have like me various terms for hazzards? like a bunker is an Elvis caught in a trap. The rough is a David Bellamy or Attenbough . ball topped and running is either a sally gunnell or worm burner . A skyed driver is a conversion at headingley. And the best one ball in the pond is taking Titanic . I also tell my round yellow ball its going on a journey. I DO LIKE LIAM'S COMMENT ABOUT THE BALL IN THE TREES . " THATS WITH THE MONKEY'S PLAYING IN THE TREES" Or one other your behind a tree no way out so you try to bend it around but like MAGGIE THATCHER ITS NOT FOR TURNING. As you can gather we have a lot of banter and pxxx taking , only the other day one of our guys was having a bad en kept finding rough we suggested he bring a strimmer next time .

  9. HEY LIAM , how are you and your g.m.coping with the course now during covid19. our rough is neck high in spots and 5ft 9 in . So we play as follows because no equipment provided , bunkers rough water hazzard , under trees you drop out if you find your ball no pen, however out of bounds one stroke pen but drop where it crossed line , its not proper golf but we look at it like this its fare for all and with 49 bunkers on our course any one person at most hits 2 per round, worst hole is a dogleg par 5 with trees all down left and if you go in or under the trees your dead playing out is impossible finding it first is a miracle in its self. that said we are all playing better for the layoff than before it.

  10. Watch an old one now and then. Good stuff, great to see them and now. Can't believe I've been a Golfmate nearly 3 years

  11. That camera work reminded me of pretending to watch the tv after a skinfull of ale but it looked great fun. Good lads all.

  12. Great track, used to be a member.

The guy whi playing with you has big shoes to fill after our previous junior organisor Don passed away, great guy.

We have had a lot of good players come out of Hawkstone
