Live from Atlanta: Keegan Bradley & Andrew Green Interviews + Tour Championship Preview

Smylie Kaufman and Charlie Hulme cap off the Smylie Show FedEx Cup road trip with one final show from East Lake Golf Club previewing the final event of the PGA TOUR season, the Tour Championship.

SK and CH are joined by Keegan Bradley fresh off a BMW Championship win that vaulted him from 50th to 4th in the FedEx Cup standings, in addition to strong consideration for a spot on the Presidents Cup team for which he’s already committed as an assistant captain. Keegan discusses that win, his upcoming Ryder Cup captaincy, and Tour life on the road with two kids back home.

Smylie and Charlie are then joined by course architect Andrew Green, who oversaw the restoration of ELGC ahead of the Tour Championship. Andrew explains his thought process behind the restoration, how it’s been received thus far, and goes in-depth on how the new grasses will play.

The show concludes with the final one-and-done picks of the season, with a FedEx Cup twist.

  1. The one and done that I participate in (runyourpool) for the First cut podcast, did 20% of the prize pot this week. It was free if anybody is wondering. Since Smylie and Charlie recorded and upload this, the rules official made a Internal out of bounds at 18. Players said they would go around 10. Nope, rules officials want that lake to come into play. They want it to be a 3 shot par 5. There is another at 6. You cant go down the fairway at 7. I think what Austin said maybe true without starting strokes, I would be shocked if anybody broke par this week.

  2. Love this show! Always looking forward to the next one, merch shop at East Lake was fantastic too!

  3. Best pod in the game! /story

Having someone that ACTUALLY played and still walks inside the ropes, along side of a TRUE golf nut/ Culver’s aficionado is all we really need in this world. Let’s do cheese curds and fix these wedge shanks forever.

  4. Super interviews. You brought your A game for this show. Nice to see Keegans personality and how miserable he can be on the course. Relatable, yet we love this game. Great pick for captain.
