Should it be possible for CFL games to end on a rouge point? | Overdrive Hour 3 | 8/23/24

Jim Tatti and Dave Feschuk are joined by TSN CFL analyst Milt Stegall to discuss why he dislikes the rouge point in the CFL, what is a good compromise for the league to keep it but not decide football games, Chad Kelly’s return, the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ expectation the rest of the season, Chris Jones’ impact on the Tiger-Cats, how long will it take for Nathan Rourke to shake off the rust, the Alouettes incredible season so far and more. They are also joined by ESPN Senior Golf analyst Michael Collins to discuss the FedExCup playoff format, who’s the PGA Tour player of the year: Scottie Scheffler or Xander Schauffele, Rory McIlroy’s major drought, the expectations on tour about Happy Gilmore 2 and more.

  1. I think the kick has to stay in the field miss or not. You have to get it out of the end zone (punt or run in out) to save the point..

  2. Yes it should be possible. I’m a Riders fan and If you don’t want to loose by the rouge, don’t give them great field position all night long. Changing it to the last 3 minutes don’t matter. What if you kick a rouge with 4:00 left on the clock and the defences don’t allow any more points the game would still be won on a rouge. Leave the rouge alone
