  1. It should be a great move for Alvarez, and for Atletico, he will no doubt score plenty of goals for them.

City have seemingly got a great fee for him too, so everyone should be happier with the situation ….. i should imagine he'll enjoy the food, weather and language a bit more than he has in England!

  2. This is the equivalent to maguire 80mil deal. Not so much news. Very average player but thats how it is sometimes. Athletico the new united😢

  3. The Brits have to be the worst in Europe at pronouncing foreign names- they love their hyperforeignisms.

  4. Weird ATM paying such an expensive fee to a club that dont really need their money. Now city can add another 50 mill and get a 140 mill worth top top world class player

  5. With aging bernardo, and injury prone Debruyne, this is not a positive sale. It makes them weaker.

  6. Alvarez risks being a back-up to another Norwegian striker as Atletico Madrid signed Sorloth a couple of days ago, who was one of the top scorers in La Liga last year with 26 goals for Villareal 🥴 (incl 4 goals in one match against Real Madrid)

  7. I’m a Man City Nation Fan

It is A sad day for Man City.
Juian Alveraz leaving. By far Julian is Far More of a striker than Halland By every aspect mostly technical and Natural Touches and he scores on Games that count. In the other hand what does Halland do Has his best games against lower teams. SMH 🤦 they should have sold Halland instead of Alveraz. Look what Sergio Aguero did and he wasn’t that tall for footballer.

  8. Great player but poor first touch held him back in City's team. It's only "poor" in the context of how City play. It won't be an issue in other teams. Good deal for all involved.

  9. He’s good but not 80M good. Even Haaland was cheaper. About 50-60M would have been about right. He’s not a prolific scorer, but he can and does get involved in attack a good bit. It’ll depend on Simeone’s tactics, but Atlético are known in general for bottling important games, so he probably won’t win any silverware for a while. But great pay in the millions and great weather in Spain is hard to resist.

  10. Its not entirely true, Bernardo and Ederson want to leave but the club has set such a high price for them that its impossible. Bernardo requests his exit since 2020.
