  1. royal new kent is tobacco road….you will love it or hate it….target golf…I'd add Stonewall GC & Laurel Hills to this list….Where's Mattaponi Springs on this list???? Maybe it's just courses on golfnow? Potomac Shores GC isn't too shabby either…Birdwood is not on this list which is near UVA. Raspberry's conditioning has gone down due to over play, not as great as it once was for top public golf…interesting how many of these were built in the 90s.

  2. Independence is overrated AF. If you're in the Richmond area, save some money and go play Magnolia Green

  3. Very poorly done. Read all the statistics for the Plantation Course at Kingsmill while saying that it was the River Course. Read the stats for the Gold Course at the Golden Horseshoe Will showing footage of the Green course. Obviously, is not familiar with any of these courses and invalidates all reviews because he was dead wrong on the only courses I’m familiar with in the video!

  4. Im surprised Piankatank didn't make the list, I've played all over the east coast and Piankatank will always be my go to. Year round flawless greens and fairways. Golden Horshoe is way over priced as well as Kingsmill. I know both assistant Pro's and have played there frequently

  5. Missed so many better courses!! Spring Creek, Golden Horseshoe Gold, Bay Creek, Birdwood, and Old Trail all great tracks. The confusion lies in the horseshoe green vs gold. The gold is the pricer one but well worth the treat. In the winter locals can get on the gold as low as $59. Spring Creek is just my all time favorite!!

  6. Keswick semi private. One of my Favorites. And Royal New Kent is top notch. And I’ll say Potomac Shores is another to check out.
