    The Niners should have walked or been prepared to extend him. This happened with Deebo, this happens all the time with players on rookie contracts who excel and become the best route runner of the team.

    So yes they don’t owe him anything BUT it also should have been obvious this is where the road was leading. Hopefully they have a plan bc as much impact as Deebo can have with the ball he has shown he struggles to get open against good defense in the playoffs.
