It was a Scot vs A Scott.. great tournament!
The lead in one and done is at 20.9 million. To answer their question, Greg only fell from 8th to 9th. He is still in the top 10 heading into The Open. There is a 2.4 million spread from 1st to 10th. It will come down to how they decide to handle out the money at East Lake. If you pick Bobby Mac you defently jumped this week. I jumped 98 spots getting my 2nd win from 337 to 238. I think the shocking part is that Vegas had the trophy in Ludvig's hands and he collasped. At -150 if I was right, the Market was pretty much dead. Bobby got a lucky break at 16, that he followed the rules right but people must have had money on Ludvig cause they were PIZZED off. They were calling Bobby a cheater on X. Ludvig needs to win a regular season event (YES, I know he domintated the RSM Classic but that is a silly event in the fall series) to get that monkey wrench for sure. Still having a great season 6th with 2092 pts.
Greg was spot on, If you’re taking practice swing in that stuff you are nowhere near the ball because you are scared of moving the ball with your practice swing. Bobby Mac cheated
If there is any major Rory can win it is the Open.
I think you are spot on about 16th.. the fundamentals of golf is to play the ball as it lies.
That relief B Mac got at 16th was NOT cheating because it was within the rules but it shouldn’t be possible to use the rules that way. If there is a hindrance of any kind the lie should be recreated to as close as possible. Or whatever. And that sprinkler of course wasn’t the problem. It was the lie which he got free relief from.
Because that was absolutely ridiculous and took away a lot of the positives for a lot of people (including myself) for a Scot winning on Scottish soil.
Adam Scott a bit unlucky not to win, McIntyre drained some long ones today.
