A nice pairing of brands and models in this review. ZX7 is a known quantity, so if Takomo can compare well you know they are well made. But I have something else on my mind, mostly because the unusual appeals to me. Homna TW 747 Vx. They came out maybe five years ago and look a lot like these Srixon. Forged, have the tungsten toe weight, 30* 7-iron and usually come with the NS Pro Modus3 shaft. They were replaced by the 757 Vx, but I prefer the look of the 747. Have you ever hit these? Any opinion? One can purchase them from Japan – set of 6 irons for about US$350 (includes Express shipping) in almost new condition. I have bought from Japan before and have found them excellent to deal with. Only drawback for me is that I prefer Dynamic Gold, but I can also just buy the heads. There is a V model too with smaller head and more loft, but I need a little more help.
