so today I’m going to be cutting open 10 stricks and golf balls pretty much every single stricks and golf ball type that I can find in my vast collection as you can see I’ve got loads of bows I I found or bought I’m going to cut them open and show you all the insides so from the ad333 down to the distance the Zar tour and I’ve even got the qar tour which is my favorite golf ball and I’m going to be showing you why the qar Tour golf ball has a secret inside that will make you play better golf when you use that golf ball so let’s start with this golf ball here this is one you’ll find often on the Range on the practice range it’s the stricken um Range ball and I cut it open recently and as you can see it’s got a really thick outer layer um with a kind of green core so um if you see this on the on the Range then you won’t be alone I found this on my local range and somehow ended up in my bag I blame my son but there you go that’s the inside of number one the stricken range ball number two I found this a little while ago it’s pretty old it’s a stricks and distance golf ball it’s so old it’s actually got a red distance marker on the side which is different to the usual distance golf ball which has got a black mark on the side black markings on the side so this has got red so what we’re going to do is we’re going to compare these two golf balls and see what the difference is if any at all so let’s get Jeff and we’ll see when we cut it open what’s inside so first of all let’s see Okay so we’ve got kind of a dark blue thick outer layer but now let’s get the uh the next model which is the strien distance with the black markings on the side let’s pop that down there for a moment get Jeff cut this one open do you think there’ll be any difference in these or is it literally just a side color on the [Music] logo so there we go that’s the strict in there so actually yeah different color on the inside actually that’s really weird how that’s cut open there and that’s almost Come Away wonder if that’s part of a fault of the ball or just the way I’ve cut it but yes so you can see there that they’ve got different insides I would say that the strickson with the black outer has got a slightly thinner outer layer but there you go there’s two more stricks and golf balls for you that I’ve cut open and don’t forget to stick around because I’ve got the secret behind why the stricken qar tour is so good but next on the list we have very very popular golf ball stricken ad333 a really great golf ball particularly great for beginners and seniors and let’s see what’s inside are we ready okay it’s almost brown feels really soft inside in comparison to the other golf balls really soft and there you can a close-up look will show you it’s almost it’s almost got little bubbles inside it there as well and when you compare that to the strick and distance golf ball you’ll see again the out layer is quite thin in comparison and the outou L the inner lay is very very different there as well so that’s the ad333 have you played this golf ball give me a little thumbs up if you’ve played this golf ball I really like this one and next another really popular golf ball which you’ve probably also played is the soft fi golf ball the stricken soft field golf ball let’s see what’s inside this one so let’s see what’s inside you know what that’s really weird because that’s almost identical to the ad333 so let’s have a look compare the soft field to the ad333 and you can see that soft field has got a much thicker outer layer but the inside is almost identical so I I imagine you’ve definitely played one of these two balls if you’ve played gol which one have you played the soft field order the 333 let me know in the comments below so that is the soft feel stricks and golf ball and next on the list is a golf ball it’s a stricken triped golf ball so have you played this one let us know in the comments below again but this is one I have not actually played so I can’t tell if it’s any good or not [Music] so here we go are we ready drum roll whoow look at that so that’s probably the the brightest color that I’ve seen from the stricks and golf ball so far and if we compare it to the last golf ball this is the soft field versus the trie golf ball it’s bright pink inside look at that so it’s almost like almost like a marshmallow like candy inside there feels really soft but the outer layer is so thick and there you go in comparison to the soft field golf ball how interesting is that so that was the stricken uh Tri speed golf ball and next we’ve got a golf ball that is really popular this is the Zar uh XV what you calling it 14 don’t know let me know in the comments below how how should you pronounce that one XV or 14 or 15 even my Roman numerals right this was interesting oh wow look at that that is weird I’ve not seen one like that in a stricken for a while so it’s a almost like a three-piece golf ball but you look up close it doesn’t actually look like it has any divide in it maybe it’s just got some sort of manufactured core so it’s slightly different in the middle I bet there some some guys out there that actually know what the what the middle of that golf ball means let me know if you know what the middle of that golf ball actually um comprises and how it’s made up and where that came from that’s really really interesting so that is the stricken and it’s the Zar so that’s really cool and I think the next one that I wanted to look at which I found and I’ve never played before but this is the stricken ulti soft golf ball have you played this golf ball it looks really good I’m imagining it’s a very soft golf ball with low compression okay so it was interesting easy to cut open inside and there we go so that is yeah it’s quite gray than what the color is like on my camera again feels really soft on the inside Let’s see we can get a good view of that on the inside so it’s almost like flect so you can see there the outer lay is not as thick as other golf balls so we compare that to the soft fi golf ball you can see that the outer layer is a lot thinner on the ultis soft but that’s the golf ball it looks really cool and I’d probably actually give that a go and then I’ve got a golf ball here next which I’ve found recently and I cut open it’s actually discontinued this is the marathan soft golf ball by stricken you can find them in discount sports stores but is actually dis discontinued by stricken when you open it inside it’s got like a blue like candy color to it and when you compare that to the ultisoft you can see the outer layer is much thicker it’s actually meant to be a really good golf ball if you want to stick it in a practice bag the marathon soft is meant to be pretty good as well and then finally I know you’ve been waiting for for it this is the stricken qar Tour golf ball currently my favorite golf ball um it confused me to start with because it actually has a uh it’s actually a three-piece golf ball when you look at it tell me that’s a two-piece golf ball but what it’s got if you look really closely and if I can zoom in it’s got a it’s got a a very thin outer layer they call it a spin skin uh out of L and this is the secret to why this golf ball is so good qar Tor it’s the SEC secret to why this golf ball is so good so you can see there it’s got like this outer layer and what I found is I think this makes the golf ball really super responsive so I peeled this off got my knife out got my cut in tool and um I would 100% recommend this golf ball if you’re looking to to try a golf ball that’s going to help with distance but give you really good control around the greens so you can see that that’s that’s really cool how they’ve done that so that’s the stricken that’s a qar tour and that’s all 10 golf balls so which one is your favorite I think this one’s really cool this is the uh the Zar and look on the inside of that a’t that interesting but let me know in the
