Jon Rahm Reacts to New US Ryder Cup Captain Keegan Bradley

Jon Rahm is in Spain for LIV Golf Andalucia and reacts to the news that Keegan Bradley is the new Ryder Cup Captain for Team USA. He also chats with the media about how nice it is to playing in his home country.

it it it feels great it feels great um one of the very exciting one of the many exciting things about joining live was was being able to come here and and play in front of a Spanish crowd uh especially on a level of event and level of competition that I hadn’t really yet enjoyed right I’ve been able to play events in Spain but you didn’t have a world-class stage I would say they’re very fantastic great players but it wasn’t the the same level of accomplishments that we have in live go so to to come back and and be a part of this is uh is quite emotional it’s uh it’s very exciting and really if there was ever a place to get my first win I feel like this would be the perfect week and uh it is an iconic golf course that has a lot of history and it would be incredible to join the great list of Spanish Champions that have been able to perform well here and uh and become one of them yeah I I don’t know why I just I heard so many people say it was going to be Tiger Tiger at Beth pach I’m like that makes sense right um he won he’s won the US Open at Beth pit and and it is Tiger Wood so I felt like that made a lot of sense but I understand tan Keegan as well right he’s right at cup showings he was a very enthusiastic player he he made his Mark he him and Phil had a great partnership and there’s some great highlights from him in uh in Madina so he’s a man from Northeast I know Boston and New York usually not friends but I think for that week they’ll just you know adopt them for the week uh yeah mean I can see it I can I can understand why he was picked

  1. Well I can see several PGA players not wanting to play because they're not getting paid (excuses coming) and using LIV as the whiney excuse. I hope not, but I'm just calling it like I see it. And then the Ryder Cup franchise being sold by the PGAA. 😮

  2. Can we stop pretending that LIV is a tournament. Its nothing more than a paid appearance with the chance to make a huge bonus. No cut, not worries. They definitely forced the hand of the PGA to pay more but there is no stress at these things. I, for one, have no interest in seeing a bunch of already highly compensated players play 54 holes with their buddies and go home with an enormous paycheck that was unearned. If I were good enough I’m sure I would play on LIV, whats not to like 🤷. As for watching it…zero interest…
