Taiwanese golfing hero Pan Cheng-tsung, known as C.T. Pan on the PGA Tour, was born in 1991 and is 32 years old this season. He began playing golf under the influence of his father, who worked as a caddy. Pan started playing golf seriously in college and was ranked No. 1 in the world amateur rankings for eight weeks in 2013. After turning professional in 2015, C.T. Pan earned his first professional title on the PGA Tour of Canada, in only his second professional event. He joined the PGA Tour in 2017 and clinched his first trophy at the 2019 RBC Heritage Championship, defeating seasoned Matt Kuchar. In 2020, he became the first Taiwanese player to finish in the top ten at the Masters Championship. Pan won a bronze medal for Taiwan at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and aims to secure a second consecutive medal by representing Taiwan in golf at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
