[Music] we’re getting ready for moving day at the John Deere classic great weather for the third round at TPC Deer Run two-time champ Jordan spe going low started the day eight back went out in a teor front 929 and this at the part 31 12th SP iron game dialed touched the lead at 14 under that’s where he found the co-leaders through 36 Aaron Ry in that final group for the second straight week playing well as is CT pan how about this yesterday on the par for 14th flexx in his short game muscles always good to have a two on the card for an eagle these guys have each gone 6563 crowded leaderboard in silvus round three coming your way next moment too this final group off and running in this third round at the John Deere classic Aaron Ry a flusher middle of the Fairway and this is a tone Setter how good is this iron game nearly jars it rywood birdie pushing him to 15 under par and CT pan to match him and pan has been rolling it beautifully this week birdie birdie start for these two guys they’re co-leaders once again at 15 under par as the round three the John Deere classic is off Jordan coming off a really bad bogey at 13 with just a wedge in his hand now this pitch coming out of the first cut whole location in the very back of the green coming up and over the Ridge and this is going to come up well short here yeah just didn’t come out of there the way he thought there Billy Ray kind of on top of the club and came out with no energy at all if he can get it to about 226 the green actually starts to run away and feed towards it oh hello look out did have a chance to go in an absolute dream start here for Aaron Ry set up right on that left Edge yep kind of shoved it to the middle of the hole and that’s a huge opportunity missed right there but you’ll pick up one it’s amazing you hit the hybrid in there like that almost make it and then you miss the three or four footer let’s going come on Boss six iron for CT really nicely struck oh right at it beautiful shot up the hill he’s going to be very pleased when he gets up there and sees where that ended up all right back at four Luke Clanton now found the Fairway that pin way in the back right here Jim almost like an Infinity pin yeah there’s nothing behind it no background there’s nothing going to need back there all stay all right another good aggressive shot he’s trying to get the 15 under he’s loving the moment the par 316th yeah 153 this is a wedge for Speed I believe in my opinion this hole is for the taking today with some slope to the right will bring it to the left just like that needs to get up a little bit that was a dangerous hole location for Jordan having missed a couple irons to the left I think that certainly influenced his play there CT pan and a great look from right around 15 ft not much in it l is out on the low [Music] side and trying to regain a share birdie parar speed on the front of the green for birdie he has to run that Ridge a little bit to the right and it breaks left and it’ll pick up some speed gave it a run she did give it a run some work left now Sammy valaki another rookie who made his way from the DP World Tour over the PGA Tour 25y old from Finland a birdie there three birdies his last four out in under 30 sure can’t afford to go long so a lot of come up short can just do that just right there that’ll work that’s one of the better shots we’ve seen we’re going to see some good ones here got a great view here from behind yep center cut nothing but net Kevin you here at the sixth just barely landed on the green should release left and it does how about that Luke Clinton Clinton excuse me 111 yards this a very getable hold location yeah right in that front right there Jim made double here yesterday had all kinds of problems but then came back with birdie at seven and eight so come back off that slope it should it does it’s going to get better okay well played when you left out what he said I knew I knew I was going to go birdie birdie after I made double here yesterday back going to the fifth David Thompson went birdie birdie on one and two out of the bunker finds a birdie at Five Short sided too struggled on this hole as well yesterday finishing up kind of got it settled back in see if he’s going to use some slope or just hold it right there with spin he’s going to use some slope as well oh this is going to get really good well played I love this whole location what you want to see as we have an eagle putt on 177 absolutely Jordan spe yeah entire length of the putt is back up the hill got a good reap from J oh gosh one more dimple yeah he’s had that all week long everybody’s just excited to see him back in the coin cities here at the John Deere classic it’s 14 under SJ now going chip this one here at six this is definitely doable no question about it it’s all about you know solid contact and the strike the catch can judge the little first little check and roll out will the hole catch it it did a good bounce back after the Bogi of five to the closing hole SP yeah perfect drive here 148 pitch and wedge for Jordan and I think this is the most difficult hole location on this right hand side I agree it’s got protected from the bunker there’s a slope right there that if you don’t get it right side enough it’ll go down that slope there it goes it’s just not the wind that we’re feeling you know shouldn’t have flown 40 oh Davis Thompson got very fortunate it kind of rattled off the trees a kick left into Fairway now just 109 yards that’s our trackman Tracer technology and that’s tracing towards the hole should come off the slope yeah a lot of ways to get it close there Jim SL perfect think it’s for Eagle here at 10 one of the few guys that get get here at two this will get him to 14 under make it move and he needs a big week as well 602 yards today yeah all right let’s see spe close out it’s round par comebacker yeah about a four-footer here you know Johnny’s trying to put the pieces of the puzzle back in his game right now I think this is one piece today after this round that might fit back now 94 yards here at the 10th location on the back portion of the green got to carry it all the way back there yeah you got to control spin here there’s a little bit of a slope and he does a nice job nice shot another par three the first one in the backside part 3 12th JJ spawn 4 under on the round 191 yards today front right hole location and what a nice golf shot for JJ needs it spawn all right we saw that good wed shot that no back hit in here this is for birdie and to get into the tie of the lead at 16 shouldn’t be much in this one ah nice read nice putt now fourway tie it to top it’s for birdie in the lead got it why not he’s a softly spoken young man but makes these clubs speak loud that’s flighted wedge that’s good he has made birdie or better on every par five his blade so far and Frank I would call this the real strength of his Arsenal oh if it spins oh man wonderful control of trajectory and spin there now at 15 JJ spawn has a chance for his seventh birdie of the day this looks good he’s got it so JJ spawn has now move within one shot of the lead middle right hole location gave himself a darn good angle here 147 to the hole uses the back stop that’s a winner 16 Sammy bamari bir this all the first two days this looks good isn’t it oh look at that chance for three straight twos here driving in really low this looks good oh how about it Frank oh had some zip on it and here’s Davis Thompson our co-leader at the par 312 that is seven iron painting the flag stick he does a lot of that Mark what a shot man that is a work of art this is the strength of his game pitching wedge loves to draw it there’s a left Hall location oh that’s better still downhill as we go up to 13 and Thompson oh what a three especially after being in the divot Hall maintain the knee Flex must accelerate and the spine angle just like that just like that [Applause] not much movement in these greens Frank you can make a lot of putts oh yeah yeah they’re good speed and the third for Luke Clanton after a 345 yd drive just a little aggressive with the second and oh it goes in a little aggressive with the third Amateur hour Breeze is coming from the right and behind so pushing it towards that flag just such a good Rhythm and so many good shots numbers are perfect like Ian Baker Finch back in his prime yeah in the old days come on now what a call bottom of the cup for Ry and within two of Thompson and we send you out to 17 Hayden Springer and his third going the high Ro just onto the putting surface what a classy shot oh it’s got his attention it’s aggressive it’s spectacular oh my [Applause] goodness and that was an eagle three for Eric Cole it’s been putting will old day for a two- shot lead absolutely what a four look like four all day long all day long back to 17 CT pan with his third caught a great break ran through the bunker now driving it in really low and that is fancy there’ll be no break left in that putt how good was that shot as he got the speed he’ll take it fantastic very smart play the great putter Ben crenchaw said to me I used to talk to him about putting a lot and he said he’d he’d go and he’d figure out the last four feet and figure that out he’d spend more time on that and then figure out how to get it to that position and that’s uh oh how pure is that roll wow so for this second straight week Aaron Ry will be in the final grouping on Sunday came up short at the rocket mortgage classic we’ll see what happens tomorrow for Ry
