what is going on guys welcome back to the channel Panthers advice today man we going to talk about Dave Canalis now as you guys know I’ve been pretty optimistic I love his attitude I love his upbeat I love the positivity that he comes to the Carolina Panthers with however I did some research based off what he talked about with Peter Sher right here we’re going to dive into that because it does scare me a little bit the title isn’t clickbait but there’s a couple things I want to go over with you guys and get your opinion man let’s jump into the article real quick so the Carolina Panthers off season Focus centered on buffering the situation surrounding Bryce young improving the receiving corpse which they definitely did that right they went out got Xavier you got Deontay Johnson two Playmakers in their own right Xavier that big physical guy Deontay Johnson probably one of the best route runners in the NFL he has potential it didn’t work out in Pittsburgh and not a lot of things are working out right there I mean look they got Russell Wilson and they got Justin fields too so it’s interesting that Pittsburgh is kind of going on a downfall compared what they were but let’s get back to the topic so on top of improving the receiving CT they improved the offensive line Bren Robert Bren Lewis and they drafted Jonathan Brooks which is somebody we’re primarily going to talk about today so like I said before he talked with Peter Sher and he said this it all starts with the Run game having Robert having Damen Lewis in there because I love our backfield and it’s crazy because last year we felt like we had a good old line and this whole line to me is way better than it was last last year so he continues to say adding Jonathan Brooks is an opportunity that came to us with a really talented guy and again death Talent just keep adding key pieces challenge your roster that’s what this draft in this offseason was all about I feel confident that we’ll be able to have a successful Run game which for me opens up everything else now that’s something we’re going to dive into in a second but we’re going to finish up the article to make sure we don’t miss anything so right here it says so it says last season in Tampa Bay canala showed a prosperity to stick with with the Run even when it wasn’t all that effective the Buccaneers rushed 439 times in the regular of the season the 10th Fest in the NFL despite averaging a league low 3.4 yards per carry Tampa also leaned heavily on one back Rashad white who carried the rock 272 times and this right here is what we’re going to talk about but let’s continue this real quick tied for the second most in the NFL last season no other Buccaneer running back reached the 50 carry mark this is where it gets really interesting guys because right there it says Rashad white 272 times 272 all right no other bucks back reached the 50 carry Mark drafting of Brooks in the second round provides canal with an interesting mix out of the back field hubard Sanders Black Shear Penny Boone and others are expected to battle for snaps during training camp so the rest of the article kind of just goes on to explain okay you know Bry young has to do his part he’s one of 11 blah blah blah blah blah but what I want to focus on right here is the fact that Rashad white carried the ball 272 times now that’s a lot because if we look right here we’re going to look at rushing attempts for the Buccaneers running back let me zoom in for you guys you guys can see all right take a look at this real quick let’s close out this ad 272 times you see who number two was Baker Mayfield now to me that actually is a little bit of optimism right I like Bry young being able to roll in the pocket be smart get a few extra yards right Force the defense to kind of contain him a little bit that should open up other things but 272 for the running back the next one was Chase Edmonds 49 then Bond at 24 now the reason this honestly scares me a little bit is because he drafted Jonathan Brooks coming off that ACL injury which tells me down the road he’s going to want Jonathan Brooks to be this guy right here the 272 guy I don’t love if I’m being honest I don’t love that I I personally don’t love that we have what four or five other backs on the team as of right now you got Boon Penny Sanders hubard Black Shear so so maybe more right this is the one thing that scares me about Dave caneles I love everything he’s been about and hey he might prove me wrong with this but 272 and the next guy had 49 let me know what you guys think on that but that’s not the only thing that scares me right because if we go to receptions take a look right here Chris Godwin 83 Mike Evans 79 who’s number three Rashad white at 64 so like I said before the title isn’t clickbait because honestly this is the one thing that does concern me about Dave Canalis say 272 with the rushing attempts 64 receptions to me that says a lot and I’m really shocked that they didn’t do something with miles or another running back during the draft because I have a hard time believing Dave is going to change this Philosophy from 272 and 64 to including Black Shear including Hub including miles and we got the other rookie too and you got Boon or Penny as well I don’t see that happening I think it’s going to be one or two guys right there and they’re going to have the majority of it but even then I say two guys I mean look right here 272 and 64 now you could counter that and be like okay they didn’t have two great backs in Tampa Bay that’s true but still 272 and the next guy was 49 it’s scares me a little bit but now let’s talk about something that’s a little bit more interesting Chris Godwin 83 catches Mike Evans 79 to me Chris Godwin is going to be Deontay Johnson let me what you guys think on that but I think Deontay Johnson has the ability to go out and get 130 targets Mike Evans I’m guessing that’s going to be the Xavier type right but let’s talk about the one thing I did like here that did shock me a little bit based off Dave’s offense in Tampa Bay Kate Aon 47 catches 67 Targets this tells me why Dave went out and drafted JT out of Texas why he still has Tommy Trumble why he has Ian Thomas the tight end is going to be a big player right you got your number one you got your slot you get your running back and then you have the tight end so for those of you in the fantasy world you might want to play Tommy you might want to play JT kind of see Who develops into that role so that’s going to wrap it up I hope you guys have enjoyed the video like I said before the only reason this scares me is because Brook is coming off that AC L te and 272 plus 70 targets that’s quite a bit today’s day and AG man so that being said I’ll catch you guys on the next one take it easy pan device is out

  1. That's an insane stat for White. I can not see Dave doing that to us. Chuba #1. I think Miles has a rebound year #2. Blacksheer #3 until Brooks is fully healthy. By mid season it'll be Chuba & Brooks sharing reps, and maybe trade Blacksheer (tho I like him). Penny I think is more to create competition. I can't see how he fits in 2024. Thoughts?

  2. I had Rashaad White on my fantasy team last year, and he delivered. I'm hoping J. Brooks can be "that guy" this year.

  3. Definitely weird, idk man Canales has to show me. Wasn’t really impressed with Tampa’s offense last yr tbh. They completely fazed out Godwin in the first half of the season for no apparent reason. Idk, he sort of seems like a “yes man” to Tepper. But we’ll see

  4. There is nothing to be scared of I have a good feeling that our team is going have a great season.I'm being realistic one game at a time,There are only 2 scenario here were going to play good football and win games or we are going to stink and have another losing season no in betweens one thing is for sure Mr Tepper let the coaches do their jobs and you just sit back and see what happens.

  5. I mean thats 16 carries and 3-4 catches per game. I think if youre drafting a rb in the first 2 rounds he needs to touch the ball 15-20 times per game or its not worth the investment. Also our offense is very predictable when chuba is in bc hes not good in the passing game.
