Frost hands he’s a he is a bull he’s a bull he’s an absolute bull I’ve been wrestling him um hey guess what’s this week yeah moving on yep he moving on no just reminded me you know the cold weather it’s actually like now yeah yeah saler you know on uh on actually today is it Thursday today Thursday it’s Thursday today cuz I was looking at it this way cuz my man Brett’s actually got the week off this week no I haven’t got no he doesn’t no sorry no no no I’m still working still working yes of course but he’s out the office is it of so on Wednesday when we were planning to maybe have that meeting on the golf course that we were going to have talking about business guess what the low is on Wednesday six two degrees two I we’re in the office but it’s a nice two to still it’s a nice I still agree with that it is a nice T so um great week it look days get longer after this yeah they they do they do hey moving on what a bloody uh exciting round of football we have ahead um there’s some big games this is now as I said last week I’m starting to lose I lose a little bit of Interest this time of year but also I know for the football lovers and you know no your teams being included it is an important time cuz if you drop one here it’s getting cold it’s 2° if you start dropping them it counts at the end of the year he’s it’s heavy hitting if you start dropping them it’ll reflect poorly on how you Seas it will if you didn’t know that if you don’t win not good that’s a win loss don’t get the four points if you’re in finals contention and you drop one yeah you put yourself at risk well you do you do and they can’t be it’s two de on Thursday we you know it’s too cold that doesn’t [ __ ] matter once you’re out there get it done yeah jump in the say down at s jump in the something I’ve never really seen before do you reckon your stay for because he’s obvious doing athletic Ventures at the moment with everything there and which he’s connected to athletes professional go just go so we play Callingwood last Sunday highly emotive game tanks in the Box he’s crunching the numbers does a great job this CL hey sh shut your [ __ ] keyboard up Focus CL goes to and goes might have been trying to rope a reaction I think out of our head coach there across the game um you know where the box is and all that stuff and I think when the S said there was some things maybe said tank just probably what’ you say mate tanks going there TS Stu which I love to say and take again wouldn’t put the F gone but at the same time they like the opposition suppor scried off and say one nil tank V OPP it’s not the size of the dog in the fight to fight the dog and tank sounds like he is a he a tank back to the initial discussion around the stat so the W bully thinks is easy to easy to judge okay does he like it he he he thinks there needs to be a a minimum possession okay so see not just one contested position out with two possessions and two contested well tank thanks for actually a little bit of a fury in the um Champion data system around the contested or the contest so it’s just a loose ball ball goes up right you two Dylan sorry Dylan versus Brett yeah we know what the result um who wins the most one-on ons yeah across the game yep the one-on-one is a hard thing to to judge cuz ball goes up in the air for you two um and you know you Dylan mhm get your hand to the ball first and the ball hits the ground so you’ve hared the contest you both hared it yep um do that get counted as a win bear with me apologies ball hits a deck Brett’s teammate over here little front and seta guy gets the ball so Brett and and hles it through that would be um an aerial loss to you an aerial win to you because it’s all about what it’s not really a One V one though is it that’s so it’s a hard step to gauge because it’s for for system yeah there’s um there’s some outliers in terms of what happens when the maybe we’ll can we get uh tank to sort of do it just go through every game and every well no can tank sort of come back with maybe like my sort of philosophy is no problems only solution so you you’ve presented three problems let’s get three solutions to to what is next in probably um cuz it’s the tricky one cuz if you go just um oneon-one marks or contested marks you know Dustin’s won the most since 2010 more than Tom Hawkins in terms of one-on ones the I’ve played with CU I just know how competitive he’s yeah Sam tayor or Alex rant oh that’s that’s juicy that’s juicy that is tough um oh I’ll have to go with Ry ransy he’s just got a bit more power about him does that speed and Beast both equally is competitive yeah um but Rance is yeah just some of these stuff I remember there was a game and and Cambo told me this we lost to the Giants up there I wasn’t playing that doesn’t matter um oh it does we were losing by 80 points to to the Giants the Tigs were and all Leon could talk about in the Box was how do we draft or trade for Alex rant to come on te he had like 18 intercepts marked everything and we still lost by 80 points just a superstar of a play Richmond lost by 80 points we lost by 80 odd points hard to keep track of it wasn’t and I wasn’t playing so that doesn’t matter cut no it does cuz they wouldn’t have had any inside 50s if you were playing it is been rebounds um anyway that’s great so let’s get into the uh round 15 yeah big start last week i’ actually big start I’d actually say you know what I’m starting to enjoy it again because RI 15 starting to get yes Andy’s back on AFL said B You by friends of b refreshingly b stat since 2011 the win percentage of teams coming off the buy against teams not coming off the buy is 42% okay so let me read that again y the win percentage of teams coming off the buy against teams not coming off the buy is 42% so I still don’t get that let me read that again one more time the wi perc of teams coming off the versus teams not coming off the bu so mean team teams not coming off the buy are 58% so it’s like yeah the buy is not good and the standard deviation buy good no buy not good is that what I’m saying yeah yeah okay it’s not the say it’s impossible so jalong and Carlton grounds in the AFL I still love playing is unbelievable we’ve graced the the turf together and you know the best thing was there you know what the best thing was at NG stadium was when the you’d always play curtain Riser and you’d go out there and just tear the [ __ ] out of it and then the scenes would have to come on after it was like carpet carpet for the for the curtain for the curtain Razer for the ne curtain raisers uh great Stadium Sydney five goals Melbourne verse North Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. at the MCG wow I’m saying it here oh go for it North win North win this is where your percentage is off the buy hey you know I was saying earlier about dropping them in this time of the year then you look back and you go shouldn’t have dropped that one well they’ve already dropped there with Mick and he used to be uh along the lines of if you can play so he he’d bring this the ground in have it marked up yeah have it marked up and we train on the Marvel Stadium which is the smallest ground in the IFL is it yeah smalles Marvel different deck that you’re not playing there every week you know what I mean you’d play there like once a year if that again mate when’s Colton playing gmhp maybe once every two years same as every so he’d always bring it into the Marvel Stadium knowing that it’s a lot easier to play on a smaller ground and you can then go and actually have more room at the MCG versus if you train on a big ground it’s very hard when you go to Marvel so what I’m asking to you Mick is do you think it will actually be EAS it would be you’ll have more room out there to run and use your skills and um doesn’t always work that way yeah okay let me go back it’s harder to play on a small ground that isn’t a big ground can we agree on that I don’t know because I look at the Giants and how they’ve gone and I think they play really well at their home deck but then when we got to the G’s particularly in our time and we there we didn’t play overly well we got got lost at times and weren’t able to use it anywhere near as well given all the space there was heat of it that’s fair similar experience when I back at the freem manal days us whenever we used to go to G G was just that wider found it hard to defend defend spread pck holes yeah and Richmond in particular Brett got play Richmond who would [ __ ] at the time and they just used the width through and maybe Mick as well I can dare say I was never a part of these chats but when you potentially bring in plays into the club who else did you ever nearly sit down and bring in and have a chat with uh we tried to get Adam tror yeah um we were working toward uh Jack trango we tried to get him across but he he ended up getting there didn’t he no he poor bugger ended up with uh oh the navicular navicular remember that he had the scan and it was just about done and then they said we can’t bring you yeah yeah so he retired um I’m not sure yeah well we stayed at M went to Port did he go went to Port I think he went back to the sandall then went to Port after that or something like that it’s amazing how the that these things just swallow themselves we I really wanted to get Adam tror I thought he would have been a great piece for our little puzzle there at the tis um and infamously said no I think I want to go to a side that’s got the better list gave Ki the rub on the head after Brody Grundy kicked that match winning goal um r on the head and then don’t couple couple years later um three flags and don’t do that to when you went to Giants yep who the red car no cuz you tell my story last piek in the a lot shorter it’s a lot of lot shorter story great for the opportunity um Brett don’t steal my story please that’s my story uh no I ended up on a a little boat in the harbor um with um sh was there Simon cage who was the runner at the time um the CEO Cambo Leon sure um drove around had a few beers and then went into um darling Harbor ordered some um like couple oysters yeah oysters Patrick or just fresh couple of crabsticks no and then yeah they gave me the bit of the Spiel went out to the club the next day and then went home but um yeah made the decision that afternoon or yeah just before H that afternoon I think oh after a couple of Shard yeah your story deal mine was a little different mine was a little different to that I got uh I got flown up with Loy Keef actually we came up together was he sweating he’s a mad sweat no so I thought I was going up and then they’re like it’s actually out of YouTu they put us on the same plot flight together and I’m like oh God this is going to be great we got up there got picked up by um Brett hand yeah who was one of the um the welfare guys beautiful man drove us out and that’s about it to be completely honest they end up going with keithy um and they took him as a deld free agent yeah and then I got picked up maybe a month later in the rookie draft were you training on at the time no I didn’t train on no no just doing your own work back but from memory um they and I say this in all seriousness I don’t think I was their first choice obviously being Kei know for a fact you weren I know for a fact Nick subin was their first choice was their first choice so they really wanted Nick subin I found out this as well and he’s like I’m not going there for [ __ ] 60 Grand with like two kids moving to Sydney yeah and I was like yeah I’ll take it and just I was like can we do 61 they’re like no I was like deal and um yeah basically that was my story Nick subin he uh few run with rols didn’t used to get him that’s really does Nick subin know like have you spoke to him about that I it’s come out um cuz I also that changed my life and I need to say thank you to him I probably a couple Nick bloody hadn’t had you no because they filled it straight away with Dion true so Brett was whil he was off gallivanting on the boat around Sy Arbor eating oyers kill Patrick did you ever me I was in the War Room at the tick what that’s unbelievable and then I sat did you know this sat with de and um Blair heartley and I was all in I was selling it I this is a club Under Pressure [ __ ] I mean I love love to hear it I’m a man for pressure I said look we’re working through a few things bit of a dynamic in terms of like we had a big body mid um we’ll come back to you I didn’t come back to you cuz the next week I think preus made the commitment to them and then then caddy so I think C was had a few and then Lynch as as well the same year was that the year before he was two years after he played n offer of a contract um similar to your discussion around 60 Grand can you do 601 no okay actually lucky I had a bit of Leverage I was like okay let me consider that um and then go coach flew me up went for dinner with like you know all your go Coast Stars oh yeah Richard Telly yeah yeah yeah Nathan Bach har who was there uh R swallow swallow was there Matt Rosa oh I love Matt Rosa in charge of ‘s list now great man dinner with them and got smoothed a bit and the offer was a bit better yeah there you go so yeah went to the Suns oh but I was how many games you not playing at the Suns only 15 so I broke my leg halfway for that first year um and then just didn’t get a game the second yeah that’s really interesting but it wasn’t like the offer was a fair bit better but at the same time I on the medical thing one last I just I’d been away I got delist from C I’d been away went to um South America with a couple mates for a month and I had knee surgery just before I left and cuz I thought I was done I didn’t think didn’t know manager said no one’s keen and um remember going I was going to go do this went away came back and did my medical hadn’t done anything I’ve been riding a [ __ ] bike around South America like my knee was like typ of bike it was a mountain bike actually no because I did the um death Road in Bolivia oh yeah have you ever heard of that good for the reab yeah wasn’t good for the meniscus and um got back and I’m doing this medical and I was like oh this is where they’re going to find me out and hadn’t ran hadn’t do anything I didn’t say anything I was like oh no these these all good and passed the medical somehow which in all fairness would understand the what happened with the injuries down at that club couple years later they probably weren’t scanning him as good so anyway that was part of mine as well I had the medical on the shoulder and my shoulder like I’d been told it might not fix for 2 years but they made me do all this testing and I was you’re just doing it doing it they were going to come back and say oh you want turn out turn out um they came back to me and said y you’re good medic I was was Mark hwood doing that he was markwood he was at great times anyway boys moving on um have we been through all the games y there you go so buys this week Adelaide Collingwood Hawks Richmond Saints and Bulldogs um which is there last but not least we’re going through the Melbourne goat so 2000 to 2030 oh yep it’s a I feel like this one’s pretty straightforward well there is for number one I think in my opinion G yeah yeah so
