At the end of April I participated in the 13th annual Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School Golf Scramble Tournament. This is my 4th year playing in this tournament and the last couple of years I’ve played with my good friend Don. But this year, I will not be on the same team, but I will be playing with DOn’s golfing buddies, Phil, Yoke, and Jav. Last year I was on the team that WON! But we’re at a different course this year, Dublin Ranch GC where I’ve played a lot of golf, so it will bee familiar. Can I repeat as a champion? Watch to find out! Leave a comment! Enjoy! [Music] hey all you birdies and Eagles or welcome back to the channel welcome back to Rio oo golf today I always say I got a special one but today I got a special one I’m playing at Dublin Ranch a golf course where I’ve hardly filmed at I think I’ve only filmed the front nine that’s the my Rangefinder died headline title I usually play with my buddy Dawn and his friends and you know they don’t really want to be recorded or slow up play so today however is the annual I guess you call it a charity golf scramble this is for the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic School in Fremont where you know I used to live this is my fourth year playing in it last year I won it or I won it I was a part of the team that won we shot I believe a 55 but that was at Las pacitas I don’t think score is going to be that low because if you know Dublin rants there a lot of par 3s and I think that’s going to even out the playing field I think there are 11 par 3s it’s a par 58 62 something like 63 so I don’t think score is going to be in the 40s if they are who knows I’m not playing with Dawn today I’m actually paired up with his friends his old buddies his golfing friends his friends from high school H Phil and yoke it is a scramble format and for 20 extra dollar you get the perks of the last couple years it’s been a Las Pitas and so you get a string I think two Mulligans and you get the tea off on a par five it’s called The Monster drive and if you start like 100 yards closer or something like that and that’s your first shot it’s a shotgun start it starts at 1:00 I just got got here it’s 11 11:40 who knows if I’ll record because don’t want to slow play but it is scramble so it’s like four shots take the best shot then you move on so on and so forth so uh there is some strategy so it might take a while and that might come into question of when I leave because I have somewhere to be in San Jose at 7 o’clock and if you know anything it’s the weekend of April 27th and 28th so southbound 680 from the connector to sonol I have somewhere to be and I don’t want it to be like a 2hour commute to go like 20 miles so I might have to leave early if I do record and it’s short four or five holes that’s my excuse and I’m sticking with it excited to be here and let’s try and repeat woo see you on the first toll if I am recording all right bur all right we’re starting on hole two it’s 150 yards to the 155 yards to the middle downhill ni shot Phil oh nice oh yeah Phil go don’t turn right get up oh don’t go in the bunker I didn’t see anything to the left what club do you use a good strike okay well we got options harder than that hog in the hole at that oh man not how you want to start yeah all right we’re on a whole whole three I got 177 to the middle 192 to the back oh I tried I don’t want to say this but I tried something new there I’m sorry man be a where’ It Go on the green I hate to tell you man your perfect shot as see hit it I heard hob go oh thanks has a good strike keep your eye right where we’re going next Nice Shot yoke dang that wind is a this a fierce some wind out there like they were saying on the T box uh the wind gust blew the phone over you didn’t get to see my shot I hit a seven wood to the middle of the green and it’s back here so uh I think I’m going to lower it the angle so it doesn’t blow over come on that was it that’s in that’s in that’s in we got a par on the last hole we’re on to Hole four it’s a red flag 106 yard oh me I I didn’t see it land uh I’m on the back of the green get up get up kick left please okay good good okay oh come back go kick right all right my ball went extremely long good there you go that’s what I’m talking about all right hold five 540 Yard part five right now a donut or your sandwich oh [ __ ] I have no idea yep little right all right we’re going to be taking Hobs uh if you don’t see much it’s cuz the ball It Go the hole goes downhill then UPS nice one Phil oh nice nice get up yeah oh kick right oh kick left doing come back oh it is it is I might be all right F back I might be all right yeah you got hey drop kick right down the middle nice let’s go I had a good drive but it is pretty windy out here when we play we normally play in the morning so it it is kind of different playing with the wind in the you’re long that’s nice oh nice God damn it come on Yogi oh damn it it’s really back here like a tournament pin all right H’s just off the green I think we’re going to take Hobs oh kind of Plinko is that on baby we definitely should get a all right one we’re on hole 10 it’s a 330 yard Par Four two over through 8 holes got a boy got a boy got a boy that’s a good hit oh yeah that’s a nice shot I see that one on the hill over the oh yeah you’re over the bunker good get up down ni on bounce on it oh yeah hey go H some beauty Oh short see a lot of people would play who what the heck was that the other day he was telling us this you can take the string and put it from there and wherever it goes out and then cut from there okay wow beautiful it’s back there too good job nice see get up get up get up nice shot oh go go go [Music] get in there again no I’ll use Str birdie string all right my watch died we’re on to about a 368 y par 4 hole 12 we just got a birdie cuz we use one of our strings cuz if you hit it within a string length it’s uh no it doesn’t count as a stroke so we got a two on the last toll we’ve used two Mulligans and two strings dirty ball go by the car shot y I lost it nice right there got Ops oh yeah all oh no I did a hve no bunker no nice shot you yeah kick up get up there get it up short oh nice get up stay left short oh that’s a Johnny L Master special came up short I popped my my seven wood up I think we’re going to use a throw I’m going to lower it so it doesn’t blow over get up get up oh yeah let’s go H should we string it birdie that would be a birdie all right string it string it string bir right yeah all right we used the string so it’s going to count as a birdie let’s go Nice Shot H okay Flags in the front about 130 into wind nice one y in the hall where’s the wind good you’re good what you use come on L hit it damn you’re short oh beautiful nice [Music] it really rolls it really rolls go [Music] short so we use that that was that’s still one right let’s go birdie all right we’re on the hole 14 we just got a birdie using one of my throws I’ve lost a lot of balls though today so it’s been very interesting and this wind is really killer it’s like almost two Club lengths longer two clubs longer it was buy two and get one free I see run run up not enough though I hit that a little rushed I wanted wanted wanted to hit a before the gust of wind found my ball I think it was left of the car pet so we put it back in play [Music] so that’s nothing so that’s the all right so use still shot and his string so that means we get birdie three under got a lot of birdies now but we’re running out of mullies and I know nice when yo yeah that’s coming down oh nice that’s going to come right up there many oh I tried to muscle it nice nice get it get [Music] in that’s birdie BT par my bad I was getting too excited all right we’re on hole 16 whole 15 of the scramble but I think it’s going to be my last hole because it’s already 4 o’clock and traffic says it’s going to be 2 hours so here we go man that you got the low took the wind out of all right we’re using one I don’t have the right Club but hey [ __ ] it been short all day I hit a good shot too long get up oh
