Are you releasing your irons differently to your Driver?
The iron release is and should be different from the driver release as with the irons you are hitting down through the ball and compressing it.
With the driver you are hitting up through the golf ball so the club should feel fully released and fee wheeling through impact.

Goes from an iron in the middle of the stance to playing a driver off the leading foot. Of course it will impact the bag different. SMDH.
