all right hey y’all beard Bros golf show um per usual lately I’m in a different spot at a Myrtle Beach I’m Rod I’m Marcus have some fun content um planned from this week shoe review hopefully get out to film a course uh that’ll be releasing in a couple weeks so those are always fun for me I don’t know if everybody likes watching course Vlogs but um it’s fun spend a day with the wife filing so we’ll do that in a couple of weeks so um you know we had a a ladies major um finished today at The Travelers which is a signature event Liv went back to work um look at them three three weeks in a row or at least three out of the four weeks that they’ve played look at them actually earning their their paychecks it’s spectacular um we have a new person to the to the community it they made a comment about 645 um kind of leading into our show MBT 3 um and it it was a response to the title is the Scotty Sheffer winning make you bored and he says Nope not a bit are they going to try to run him out of golf just like TBO out of the NFL hot take on the second one I’m I’m not I’m not an NFL um analyst Pro it’s probably the least followed sport between golf basketball and football for me um so I don’t I can’t even really comment on that one so I Scotty’s safe Scotty’s like the most loved dude out there right now um and I let’s let’s get to Scotty in a little bit we’ll swing back on around to that um we’ll start at the top of the week and some stories that kind of we saw earlier on in the week and then we’ll we’ll work our way there so Tiger Woods this week PJ um policy board um granted him a lifetime exemption into Signature Events which we saw originate a couple of years ago what do you think about him getting lifetime exemptions this is not the majors of course he’s into the Masters forever we saw him get an exemption into the US Open I would assume that that’s going to continue even if he doesn’t qualify which he doesn’t play enough at this point to qualify for these Majors outside of the Masters automatically um so what do you think about the Signature Events um I think the exemption is cool I mean giving him you know his props and his flowers and everything like that I mean I think the main thing here is being able to give it to him while he’s still here and not prous so giving him all the accolades giving him all those these lifetime Awards when he can still walk up to the stage when he can still when he’s still coherent enough to make a good speech and not just Ramble On and On so I think it’s a good look it’s a it’s a good look overall it’s a good look for the PGA it’s a good look for the legacy of of it all and I still think he’s not going to exploit it of course everybody wants that easy money grab but I think he’s gonna find him a home with the PGA Tour Champions he’s talked about it and then just like we’ve talked about as well them being able to card up I think that’s going to have some definitely alleviate some of that stress of can I walk 72 holes can I make it the whole event I got a cart I’m good I’m right up to the golf ball um and I’ll be okay so I think that’s a really good look overall for both and I think that tiger being tiger he’s not gonna exploit it he’s gonna you know pick and choose which elevated events he wants to go to anyways hopefully most of them are going to be around majors and around the end of the year and stuff like that when he’s trying to keep the juices maintained and flowing and things like that so all in all I think it’s a good lo I think I it’s on my end Marcus um I told you my signals kind of kind of Jumpy so um I might come in and out I think we we lose signal and get it back so yeah see that comment from from Mickey I I agree um tiger still moves the needle yeah tiger still he’s still I mean is he winning no is he even competing no but people still crowd around tiger and if he’s in the tournament which is only a handful of times this per year people are going to go to the spectacle because you want to see the greatness I still think he’s top I don’t know it’s tough to call it but one of the best iron players that we’ve ever seen and when he’s in the Fairway iron play is still really good and is it consistent across four four rounds you know four days in a row probably not not like it used to be but he still has magic and he’s just got this learned muscle memory over all of those contacts with the ball practice sessions you know the mental game and I I just think there’s a lot for Tiger to offer we saw him really kind of come out um a couple of years ago and start getting involved more publicly than we’ve seen in the past with college players you know teaching the you know the kids spreading more of that knowledge out there and I think we see more of that vulnerability from Tiger going forward so absolutely yeah agree yep yep um NBT 3 I think folks say it’s boring to Scotty yep we’ll come back to that one um so yeah I this is super like off the cuff I found this quiz on the PGA Tour website that I wanted to just go through it’s like how well do you know tiger so I haven’t done this and I was really just trying to see if the the crowd and Marcus could could get some of these and um this could be very well be an ad and be super bad but what we’re gonna try it out just since tiger was our our lead subject let me share my screen here tell me when it comes up on your side Marcus it’s up cool all right so it says how well do you know tiger take this quiz like I said this could be very bad we’ll see this one’s pretty easy how many T how many Champion major championships has Tiger won I’ll give everybody a quick second imagine the Jeopardy uh Sounder going on in the background all right what do you got 15 all right got it a family we all know yep what year was Tiger Wood’s First full season on the PGA tour oh all right give it about 10 seconds here I I think I know this one um all right I’m I’m gonna go with B 1990s no I’m going a 1995 it’s uh 96 okay I’m gonna go with your answers I I I thought about 96 no 96 oh the year he won the Masters he made his debut in 96 had a whole in one on the John Deere open that year that’s on me yep next question I was way off uh how many tournaments did Tiger win Tiger Woods win during his major cut streak oh during his made cut streak so the made cut streak was like ridiculous um how many tournaments did Tiger Woods win during that period I have no idea I’m g go crazy I’m G just say a I’m G say since it was such a long streak that’s a lot of tournaments I’m I’m my guess is C but I said we’re rolling with your answers we’re rolling with yours did it you were right7 52 felt lofty that felt super lofty during that time frame even a 37 ridiculous 37 is ridiculous tiger famously won the master tournament by a margin of how many strokes in 1997 I I want to say that c yeah you can answer this one as a family it’s definitely 12 who did Tiger Wood surpassed when he broke the 105 straight made Cuts definitely not David dval he was inconsistent Davis Love let’s go ja Nichol I think so too although I kind of feel like this one could be sneaky and be uh VJ sing but we’ll go Jack Nichols right randomly nice right I feel like uh somewhere down the line VJ Singh is going to be uh the trivia answer to it some random stuff uh what tournament started Tigers 142 made cut streak this is super random I’m assuming uh I want say the Farmers Insurance open yeah but I I think it’s going to be a because I think b b is like an outside but I think I feel more strongly about a yes I agree yep nice in 2019 terer Woods won his 15th major championship at which Tournament of course we know this one this is super easy marking his first major victory in over deade decade Masters hands down don’t even have to think about it yeah all right yay then we get spammed right no way we get the correct percentage of what we made hit you too easy all right that was fun just to saw that and I was like let me add this in so I think just kind of closing the tiger thing you know we went into this year with him being really optimistic about playing one once a month clearly we have not seen that um we saw him struggle physically you know at the Genesis earlier in the year coming down with the flu um the Masters made the cut but you could tell he was laboring come Sunday just really hard hard walk we know that it’s a difficult walk um you know finished dead last of players that made the cut um gosh so then we moved to the PJ championship miss the cut right yeah missed the cut and that in the US Open so clearly we haven’t seen him every single month people say around him say that he is looking stronger getting stronger I think we see spurts and we see him doing these practice rounds where people like he’s striping the ball but these are in limited views limited reps he’s not walking the entire course you’re getting nine in at a time you know full of holes you’re dropping balls um a little bit easier on the body but come you know Friday afternoons and Saturday weekends we’re seeing Tiger’s body catch up with him so like you said still moves the needle um still looking forward to him Tee It Up you know for many years to come in whatever capacity that is and whatever tour we love tiger he’s been a huge you know the the tour wouldn’t have come up with this exemption had he not been this attribute to the game that we’ve seen him be for a long time so um finish coming off of a story that we we touched on last week I have a video up about Nelly Corda trying to bounce back after missing two straight cuts uh the US Open and then then the Meyer LPGA this week um I was optimistic so I was editing up a video on Thursday kind of evening and saw that Nelly had shot three under um in round one of the KPMG women’s uh PJ championship and then you know Friday rolled around and I turned on the coverage kind of Midway through her you know front nine and I texted you and she was SI plus six through nine holes on Saturday or excuse me Friday apologies and I was just like damn that’s a hell of a two-day swing from finishing that what and then we see her finish at 81 missing the cut by one stroke plenty of footage which is unfortunate of her crying kind of going through it um you know wild swings throughout one season where she was on a historic run still is I mean she’s she’s already Capp 2 million um in winnings I think 2.4 so far this season far and ahead of above anybody else what you think about the wild swings and her still really trying to find her game I think it’s honestly going to be sad to see what people say about her season because of this Three Tournament stretch people are going to like diminish the first part of the season because it seemed so far long or far away now but she still one went away from being um amongst Nancy Lopez some of the greats of all time as far as LPGA and women’s golf history and period she just needs one more win and then we’ll be right there as far as it goes with what’s happening um with her win streak and the money she’s receiving and all the other different accolades you know Player of the Year scoring average and things like that you know so probably a loot to win the probably a lock to win the season Championship as well at this point unless somebody else kind of comes out on fire and it’s still yeah what do we have um two more Majors left for the ladies because they play their five right yeah we still have their Open Championship to go and then also their um the championship in in France yeah yeah yeah I hate that that might be a possibility that the season that she started off with gets diminished any in any way because let’s just say this was spread out throughout the season it would look very different um but it I we we talked about the intensity last week that it takes to win at this level and we’ll talk about that with Scotty as well that this between the two of them and the seasons that they’re having in 2024 um I really do truly feel and and we we said this last week that she will find a way to get her game back on track she said it in her post round comments after missing the cut that she was she was going to go back to the lab spoke about it last week she’s prolific about filming her swing she will find that key that swing key something that’s missing something that’s off um you could just tell um some of them she had a two-way miss going um on Friday just really out of sorts and almost I compared it kind of where Scotty was at the US Open even though he managed to make the cut that first day out at Pinehurst you could just tell just something was slightly off putting themselves in in the wrong spot you know in bad positions where they weren’t able to get up and down um efficiently so you can tell she wasn’t that far off cuz I’m like I said just a bunch of bogeys on the front nine in her second round um and then you know the back nine ultimately was was much much more detrimental so I think she’s going to be able to find something it’s this is long rest of the season for the ladies they play all the way through November so we got five more months of women’s golf to go and for her to yeah so anything else before uh we go to to Amy Yang um no not really I mean I’m just I’m still in the boat of not worrying about Nelly right now there’s just too much season left to go just not even worth it to just get riled up about it yet you know maybe going into like into August going into solheim cup or something like that and she’s still kind of like iffy but it’s two months from now three months from now so we got plenty of time to see her recoup and show the form that she’s been showing uh you know previously yeah let me pull this one up and I just want to say that um I think it’s just the number Sienna 81 from her I think I think is what’s stunning for people it kind of throws the equation off I think had she just barely scraped by missed the cut or or made the cut but didn’t finish well it would feel different I think just seeing the 81 the Optics of that uh screwing people’s brains true so um just pulling this up from our last little topic here tiger should have won 20 Majors he was absolutely the best ever to swing the club and putting 100% just just a pure talent you know I think the Olympic style weightlifting both helped and hurt him you know some people just suffer more genetically from some from wear and tear putting your body through that those type of rigors and I get it you need it it it helped him generate speed that we hadn’t seen up to that point and bring a new level athleticism to golf which we see has PR proliferated the game however I don’t think the uh Medical Science and you know Sports Medicine technology had caught up to what he was doing to be able to better maintain his body right but definitely helped him when prolifically um so Amy Yang today I mean honestly you could tell from round two um Amy Yang showed up to really perform form in this uh KPMG women’s uh PGA open or PGA Championship this week uh really was at the top of the leader board swinging the club incredibly well um very picturesque um Golf Course up there in the Pacific North West at s h Southall Country Club beautiful course tree lined um I love that part of the country um The Evergreens that dark green grass um this part particular course had a lot of elevation changes and you could tell um you know we’ve talked about this in the past with being able to hold Greens especcially on the LPGA being able to hit a towering ball flight and why some of the ladies can you know separate themselves with that higher ball flight she was able to really maintain distance where you saw a lot of shots ricocheting to the backs of greens even coming in you know trying to get it the front of the green um she was able to control her game you know opened up a five-stroke lead at a certain point today ended up being you know a three point three shot margin what do you think about uh Amy Yang’s win this week and her first major championship um along with her five tour wins that she had previous to that yeah um so Amy Young’s like a interesting story because she was very prolific in her youth uh she was a junior Prodigy as they said you know in the coverage and you know you can just look it up and see the stats for yourself you know went on a little yeah one first at six age 16 exactly and then for her to go through a little lull and just find herself again low3s mid-30s to where she’s out here and she’s doing her thing now I mean she’s found a swing that suits her and it’s still a very pretty and very efficient swing I mean you can’t rush it the tempo is perfect I mean there’s just a lot of different technical aspects of her swing that are just pretty much Flawless much like a lot of the women golfers are but when you put it all together and you end up at one point in the day having a seven stroke lead just being at 10 by yourself and having a bunch of you know I guess you could nobody’s a Scrub but it seemed like everybody was just three under or less and so nobody was you know Ching her so I think she’s still got plenty of years left with that swing and um maybe lose a few yards of distance as the age grows but um with that technical swing that she has you know she’s gonna win a little bit more before she turns 40 she might maybe be able to make that push for that the LPG Hall of Fame point system that they have going on yeah she gets on a run um not to be ignored Lily a Vu second place tied for a second with Jang Co and uh Miu Yamashita so she is after missing significant time with injury uh last week winning which we talked about that do you want to go in um into a major with the win right underneath your belt I guess it’s not that bad of a strategy if you can pull a T2 the next week um like you said Amy Yang just separated herself it was her weak she was focused from the jump and sometimes when a player has it going like that it’s just undeniable it’s their time they’re they’re in a Zone you know she found a comfort zone around that particular course maybe just suits her eye shot shape but I mean kudos to her for that really dominant win and you know I love to see the ladies getting significant purses for their wins especially in Majors so 1.5 million was her take-home uh all the tide for seconds got 72,000 so very significant money that these ladies are taking home as a result of the increased popularity of the LPGA we give them Kudos we have been I want to say we’ve been drive not driving the bus but I feel like we’ve been ahead of the curve in terms of celebrating these ladies and recognizing what they’ve been bringing to the table we’ve loved watching the LPGA for years now and it’s just now finally they’re doing what they need to do on their side from the social media aspect and taking advantage of the men’s kind of division and stepping in the Gap they’ve been developing a lot of ladies a lot of it’s a worldwide tour and I think that’s also the fun part of the LPGA we’ve see them from Australia to the Asian countries to Europe Sweden um you know which is in Europe uh us ladies are strong so it’s just a really Global tour so week in week out you can’t really get used to just one country dominating or one player we’ve been able to kind of have this Melting Pot of of winners on the LPGA and it’s pretty damn amazing to be honest with you yeah definitely definitely bro they definitely have popular golf spots more than we do unfortunately the women do I mean there’s a lot of Asian golfers men and women but uh for some strange weason it’s just not taking hold with the in but they have an Asian tour though that they can just rely on and still make plenty of Bank on I mean China has plenty of different temporal spots to where they can play year round and things like that so yeah they’re they’re going to be all right too yeah for sure all right let’s get over to uh our man 50 Grand Scotty sheffler the man is killing it I’m sorry like I I I put him in the title like dude does this get boring he won his sixth Tournament of the Year back to back or not back toback sorry missed you know the the US Open and the US Open which was his worst finish of the year and that’s the thing like I I was just kind of thinking about the 2024 that Scotty Sheffer has had and it’s honestly pretty ridiculous I mean you think about the wins that’s one Piece of It new father that’s a whole another piece of it um got arrested you know I think when I was looking at the results for the year um I I really truly believe that he had a chance to win the PJ Championship T8 for somebody who got arrested pretty damn good man I I don’t know man I just I just don’t know where we’re going to end up I I don’t want to run through his results because I I just think that um you know looking through the list again that t41 at the US Open was his worst finish of the year the century season opening T5 American Express t17 Pebble Beach T6 Phoenix uh Waste Management T3 uh Genesis T10 um won the Arnold Palmer the players backto back uh the Texas Children’s open in Houston T2 which we said he really had a chance to win that that was simple simple putt that he missed um and then went into the Masters we know he won that RBC Heritage PGA Championship um T8 the Charles swab in worth hold on I’m mute Marcus real quick all right um Memorial won it and then Us open t41 and then of course today winning The Travelers so when Marcus jumps back on screen I’ll get him back unmuted um but I mean honestly guys I don’t know I’m not getting bored of watching excellence and that’s the when I watch Scotty play golf I see somebody that has separated himself from you know PGA Tour um anybody that’s playing live He’s just different and the officient with which he plays the game he’s winning in different ways today after um some rowy uh protesters which I I still haven’t been I I’m sure the reasons out there what they were what cause they were trying to get at came out on 18 as uh a batia Tom Kim and Scotty Sheffer approached the 18th green at The Travelers uh with some powdery canned substance getting tackled by the police really stopping the tournament play um Tom Kim ultimately making his birdie putt uh Scotty coming in with the par but winning in the playoff um again just finding different ways to win I like I said I’m not getting bored of watching it I love seeing athletes perform at the top of their game what do you think about the trajectory that what what do you I know we talked about this already you know Eight’s the number um that we want to see him hit and that’s kind of you know the modern record um what do you think’s left for the rest of his year uh I think two things are are what we need to speak on firstly tiger this is Tiger Tiger’s like fourth best season and this is Scotty’s best season just as a comparison to what we’re talking about now Tigers won nine Tigers won eight twice Tigers won seven Tigers won six twice individual years so again this is what we’re dealing with here when we talk about Scotty prolific season Tigers Trump this five separate times you know what I’m saying multiple times multiple times but I think it’s crazy to even speak on but this was a great parent for both Tom and Scotty homies literal actual homies um it was Tom’s birthday earlier this week so you felt like you know he was going to be coming off a lot of good momentum and you felt it 65 or 62 followed by 65 you backed up a eight under run with a five under round to go 13 clear yeah boy was seriously golfing but then yeah when it gets down to it when you got to hit the nails your boy Scotty is right there for he just clipped him he clipped him again he shot 64 to um or 65 to Tom Kim’s respectable 66 dude went four under on the round and still got clipped I think when they were going down the four the second 72 hole in the playoff hole Scotty and them are conversing it’s a cool little situation yeah they’ve they’ve had thanksg he’s invited he’s had him over for thanks giving they’re that tight they’re broken bread that tight so it was crazy because like it’s like we were talking about it in the shop as you see the backdrop I’m at work so we were watching the coverage and of course we’re sitting here and we’re like all right they’re buddy buddy I don’t know if I’d still be talking during the 70 second hole which could be the determinant hole or the playoff hole but I think it speaks to Scotty’s level because he’s not gonna get distracted he still knows he’s gonna hit shots which is what happened he hit it to six feet and when the pressure was on Tom Kim out drove him didn’t matter yes had a had a lesser Club in his hand didn’t matter still came up didn’t have the goods Scotty played to the middle of the green six feet over the hole T puted and got up out of there and a fried egg it’s the consistency which is not boring to me because he’s done it in separate ways all week bro tell me this um Bryson talked about this last week at the US Open playing boring golf you tell meing golf possible bro you tell me when you’re on a on a heater do you ever get tired of hitting the middle of the green abely do you ever get tired of flag hunting and scoring um look maybe um you know I know the level of golf is very different but I never get tired of that feeling of flushing a shot and it Landing close to the pin like today um again shout out to Myrtle Beach played I think it’s the world tour World Tour golf links it’s their version of like a Tour 18 and I honestly got on a cooker where I felt like I couldn’t miss hit a iron for about 12 holes and just flag flag and dude the feeling it’s just like you know like dude so guy imag imagine Scotty bro he’s been playing that type of golf for the last two years where his just lights out people know that Scotty is coming really three because he won the Masters a couple years ago so or three years ago so dude you you don’t get tired of that and you don’t get tired of chasing people down and winning tournaments and earning $24 million on the tour not even a full three fours through the season Bros Bank $24 million and that doesn’t include the endorsement deals that he’s probably got going on off to the side my guy is winning at life right now new baby yeah winning tournaments chasing down records he is the closest thing still very far closest thing that we’ve seen to Tiger I’m 28 years old so Prime of his life you know and I think I I don’t know I just don’t see anybody else with the intangibles that we’ve seen from Scotty and it’s almost getting kind of old gushing on him but it’s just it’s so good and it’s so consistent and he’s predictable as the sun coming up every day so yeah yeah excuse me for for sack writing no um Harvey pennick has a great quote about this and I probably said it not on the show but I’ve said it to you before the guy with the pretty swing isn’t the guy you need to worry about the guy that has the unique swing the original swing but still scoring and still having a good round that’s the guy you need to worry about because he’s figured out a way to still maintain and control his ball striking and where the Flight of the ball is going to go despite whatever he’s got going on with his feet despite whatever he’s got going on with his hands whatever he’s got going on with his body the ball strike in is still there the putting now that he’s got the the tailor made spider in his hand again is still there it’s it’s nothing you can do about it and just like what Mickey said when you got a caddy like freaking Ted Scott your course management is going to be crazy I mean Ted Scott made more money than some of these Pros on tour this year soan let’s just say that let’s just say that I think the St I L I think somebody’s I I I think I need to see like a Twitter post on it but I think legit I think Ted Scott is like number two um in earning serious I mean he’s up to like three or he’s up to three or four million now after these last couple of wins the win at the memorial maybe not uh but is he up he’s up there he might be closer to five six now with the with the pay cut and then whatever he’s making salary wise you know he’s got to be on salary with Scotty Scotty makes too much money there’s no way he’s just going tournament to tournament he’s way that’s the thing also T Scotty plays a lot of golf too I mean considering his star status he’s not just sitting out weeks upon a time where we don’t see Scotty Scotty’s playing two to three times a month he came right back after the PG championship and played yeah he came right back the next week well you know now that they have all the um Signature Events right after Majors to keep our attention right so we don’t have that major fallof that we’ve seen in previous years so I mean he was compensated well to win the memorial so don’t get don’t get it completely Twisted he he was incentivized to be there but then he yeah went out and wanted so yeah um let’s see you know next week we have so I know Tom Kim’s heading over to Detroit this week’s kind of eh I mean I I I actually like the course because it’s an old school um setup I I like where they play The Rock and mortgage classic but it’s one of those where you’ll get some Stars Tony F now usually plays here um so we’ll see some names and I I think it’s kind of a middling tournament right it’s not a complete fallof or off week but the John Deere the next couple of weeks will be kind of eh for the um you know PGA Tour so we have John Deere and then and Scottish open and then Isco Championship that’s running um simultaneous to the Scottish open so anyway so the next few weeks until we get yeah so a few kind of tournaments until we get to the open but yeah yeah I mean like I said rocket mortgage will be watchable um John Deere is interesting is it’s where a lot of players start scrambling um for position near the end of the year especially those that are kind of teetering on losing their cards especially now that we’re down to that 75 which I like uh we’ve talked about this with um guys like Nick Lashley or Nate n Nate Lashley excuse me coming out bitching about the kind of average players I’m sorry bro when you look at what stars are doing that’s the bar to me I don’t I get it like we need Rank and file PGA Tour players but you have to keep earning it right or there’s always going to be somebody right behind you trying to go get get that spot so yeah again we’re kind of in that time of the year where people are starting to scramble they they either aren’t having the season that they planned on having um I mean you look at somebody who’s had a completely reversed season from last year um Glover Lucas Glover had the hottest second half of anybody last year outside of maybe Vic hin and so we haven’t really seen or heard much from Lucas at all this year outside of some you know politicking about the the stuff that’s going on with the PGA Tour board but I mean that’s how competitive this thing is year after year you got to keep earning it um so it’s just I guess more impressive what we’re saying kind of bringing a full circle with Scotty and his ability to do what he’s been doing with all these people gunning for the top spot um yeah you know you see guys like Justin Thomas have a decent week this week um after bombing in the US Open I know right he’s had one of the crappiest I thought last year was pretty damn bad for Justin Thomas he’s kind of doubled down on that I I don’t know man um it’s that that little second tier of guys that had their run and then now are kind of I don’t know struggling or kind of Teeter ing on on what we consider a star anymore um love Jordan spe hadn’t really been performing I love Tony fenale that man should be winning more than he has I don’t know man there’s a bunch of guys in that tier that Scotty is just like stepping on their neck so hard right now who who do you think could challenge Scotty like consistently consistently nobody it’s gota gota be a group and then even then the group very con very inconsistent I mean you gotta put Tom Kim in there new hot thing you got you gotta put like a guy like Max hom you gotta put a guy like Lam Clark um cam young all inconsistent all inconsistent yeah then I mean you gotta think about it just like what you were saying about the fall off between season to season who’s a guy we all know in love Harry HS dude was on a corn fairy tour getting it out the mud bro he got his card back congrats to him um so he’ll be back next season uh 2025 he’ll have full playing privileges but he’s gonna finish out Fair tour yeah hopefully he comes back and knows how easy it is to lose it and you know does a little bit of of the extra work or get some of those good breaks to you know keep it in keep it in play but otherwise you know I really don’t see anybody really just touching Scotty week to week I mean also I meant to say Max hom had a great quote I mean TP just a a social media genius if you may if you will but bro said I got my ass kicked by a guy that was in jail and then came back and shot a 65 the next morning like what am I supposed to do Max you you nailed it on the head bro what what are we supposed to do with that bro he didn’t win the tourament T8 after being in jail you can’t tell me so we said right that was round one that the arrest happened came out shot a number then the next day was kind of that crash that emotional crash and then round two okay you’re right yeah but then got it back together little chap you know and he really dude that’s what makes him likable he a have no complaints or excuses he said no Ted Scott we agreed to it earlier on he has family is always first he’s always going to be able to do that I have something in place my chaplain here is one of my good friends on tour it is not an excuse whether I’m doing my own numbers and counting off my own yardages and stuff it does not matter that’s not an excuse for what happened the adrenaline might have worn off it’s not an excuse dude took everything on the chin paused no did he but really stood T toes down on him having a bad round and sticking to his guns he knew what it was and he came and just like you you were getting ready to say my apologies for interjecting but came right back and had a round on the fourth on on the last round so yeah ain’t nobody touching Scotty really man I don’t know I don’t know what to say bro I know it’s it’s kind of sick and um even again we were talking about greatness LPGA and PGA and we’ve seen Nelly struggle and we’ve seen Scotty fall off the wagon and get right back on again just continues to figure out ways through his play to elevate himself and to all the haters who said that he didn’t have a personality we’ve been seeing a lot more of Scotty you know I hell I think the family man I mean just going full full circle everything that relates to public relations he does incredibly well he’s got a hell of a team he’s a genuine dude that’s a whole you know um guy that I work with is a member at River Oaks and has saw Scotty grow up and he’s a genuine dude in the offse like regular weeks they’re up at the club eating playing pickle ball they’re just regular folks and you know just can deal with regular people and interact he’s not a star star he’s just a dude that walks around his neighborhood and goes get gets ice cream like I said just different built different and I think Built For This Moment that we’ve needed in golf to kind of you know I don’t think he said much about the live stuff very little just let his game speak um you know ultimately and in long term he’s going to win because of that all the kind of rewards that he’s going to you know really be deserve deserving of are going to come his way um and it’s coming naturally so enough he even had a good quotable about that about live said the he said the only people that’s losing is the fans because we split who are they gonna go for who are they gonna cheer for but um also just on a separate tangent about Scotty you know what it is people don’t think he has a personality because it’s not the personality that they want to see they want to see him out in the spotlight getting messed up getting trashed dude he W the waist open the the waste management last year and he still hit Scottdale old Scottdale had some drinks with the guys and then made it to his next event So when you say he’s not one of the guys or he can’t be out on the scene he’s proven everything wrong and then he’s still about his paper and he’s still about his religion now y’all can say what y’all want to say but the dude is is very steadfast about it he’s spoken on it before I mean he is true and true one of the most authentic people you could think about especially on the Natural State on the national stage so I mean it’s is people are hunting for bad things to say about him essentially at this point now that’s all I have to say rob you might be Frozen right now I’m sorry um what’s up yeah I’m frozen yeah my my Signal’s crap it keeps going in and out so um that’s what happens when you’re on the on the road you get some some spotty conditions your normal St no no um so anyway like I said earlier in the show if you’re just joining got some stuff coming from Myrtle Beach um shoe review which I hadn’t done much of here lately so looking forward to it it’s a New Balance 574 just early out the gate super legit love it so far had a good round in it today um course Vlog coming as well um we are off next week we’re going
