[Applause] Adam warzinski venicius Liberati [Applause] [Music] this an absolute monster in the gym and he’s also had amazing results in competition winning major titles at the Europeans in the pants here they’re getting put situation with both legs locked doing a great keeping Adam warzinski off balance mostly to the right good grips here by liati one on the pants one on the far side sleeve really good deup pass does a great job forcing the half guard position also passes directly to mount quite of he’s very good at like basically floating over the knee putting his forehead on the mat utilizing his length to be able to some I would say unconventional guard passing but perhaps not just very good at that style up up Adam I think is most widely known for his butterfly guard but as we were just mentioning his passing is equally as effective getting taken off balance on a few different situations Liberati comes up for the sweep Adam also has a really good half guard one strength of the butterfly guard that Adam binski is definitely on display whenever he’s able to successfully sweep is typically in other positions you’ll sweep and it might end up in a looser guard position but when you sweep with a butterfly guard you typically end up tight on a half guard pass oh big taked down two points for Adam morzinski and already putting the pressure on steps over the leg [Music] Adam staying really tight here trying to drive his right knee forward to the mat definitely putting the pressure on forces Liberati to bring that right leg back in front that was a great job by V Liberati bring the tra leg but Adam traps it again this grip orientation over the top of the well this grip orientation Danny while Adam’s trying to float over the top because he’s cornered off a little bit meaning his right leg is caught and his left hand is caught this diagonal control is very difficult to deal with and leads to more situations kind of like this now they’ve been on the feet for 3 seconds it’s going to reset the position just has that lapel fed through the leg reinforcing his single leg [Music] [Applause] Adam looked like he wanted to sit back down and go for his hook [Music] [Applause] sweep it’s one of the benefits of having a very good butterfly guard as options like that become available to [Applause] you slowly inching their way out of bounds just dancing on the blue and yellow match is tied up at two points a piece the heavyweight final the 2024 ibjjf World jitu Championships Adam warzinski and venicius Liberati Venus up on a single leg puts Adam down two points for venicius Liberati 20 seconds outside the halfway point this is a tight battle Adam in the half guard he’s going to try to tilt pus to the side now he’s got that belt grip Adam super dangerous from here we’ll see if he tries to insert his left hook and go for his trademark butterfly guard sweep the belt grip is really good for keeping your opponent’s knee on the mat you need that in the butterfly guard if Liberati is able to stand up to his feet makes it very difficult to get the offense going as you see right here Adam’s got the hook trying to control that tricep we look at this lifting venicius and he comes up oh my goodness in the mount wow he makes it happen anyway two points for the sweep more for the mount Adam in a great position he’s going to go for that head arm Joe Jake will we see first black belt world champion and that’s it he makes it happen world champion oh my goodness from Western Poland Adam warzinski wins his first blackboat world title four fights four submissions for Adam outstanding performance from the cckb black belt what a way to win your first black belt World title that was incredible Jake I have no words check Matt is having quite the day swept right into the mount immediately started walking the elbow above the shoulder gets the submission with the head and arm choke and just as I was saying it would be very difficult for him to get the butterfly guard sweep when Liberati was on his feet pulls down on the belt and readjusts his Hook from the knee to right underneath essentially the up on the hamstring lifts and Taps the foot out of the way on the opposite side to land and mount what a performance from Adam warzinski takes home his first black belt World title in the heavyweight division 100% submission rate that was epic it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a blackb world champion that wasn’t American or Brazilian well the Polish born Adam warzinski makes it happen and cck Matt gets another moment with one of their [Applause] greats how insane is that
