The PGA TOUR returns to Jack Nicklaus’ Muirfield Village Golf Club this week for the Memorial Tournament presented by Workday, the seventh Signature Event on the PGA TOUR schedule this season. The best players will be in Ohio this week with all of the FedExCup’s top-10 in the field. Viktor Hovland defends his title and looks to become the first player since Tiger Woods to repeat at the Memorial. Hovland, who is the reigning FedExCup champion, returns to action after his third-place finish at the PGA Championship – his best result of 2024. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler also tees it up again this week. Scheffler, who finished second at the Memorial last season, has continued his run of dominance through 2024 over the last few weeks. Scheffler has finished outside the top-10 just once this season and has gone 1-1-T2-1-1-T8-T2 in his last seven starts. Rory McIlroy also tees it up in Ohio this week after his tie for fourth at the RBC Canadian Open last week. McIlroy has five top-10s in 12 starts at Muirfield Village. Others to look out for include Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas and Ludvig Åberg.

well drove it left here yesterday but Fairway today so this whole location kind of that front right 147 for havland when you stare at it that long I’m just going to tell you it’s going to be pretty good oh yeah is it good Victor just the tap in for birdie at six what a approach shot that was swinging so much better went back to the fix with Joe Mayo Monday to the right of that first bunker on the left already be Two Eagles so far par five sth I don’t mind to missing either one of these front bunkers Frank and that’s exactly where this one’s headed oh didn’t quite make it that’s on the down slope as well well this is brutal down slope got to elevated it quickly it’s not exactly horrible really from where he was actually that that is fantastic Frank the grind you have to uh stay in it with your head and keep grinding all day I’ve Le grinding at seven to try and make a four oh what a great up and down he almost had no shot from where he was great up and down for havland I mean in havins no slouch he gets after it he does it’s fun to watch couple of beauties there fun to watch huge divot pretty good shot too HE2 play the front side in even park again he’s the defending champ average proximity versus your 10 to 15 handicapper you just go ahead and factor in at 18 to 20 mph win the heavy rough his third shot just had nothing to do with that rough on the right left hand side that is a fantastic third yeah beautiful pitch right there sliding it down with some spin good stroke from four he no kid just a lob wed straight down win [Applause] yeah that’s as good as we’ve seen here in the past at least an hour really good shot two for two for birdies here at 13 again both players excellent wet shots in there taking advantage of that hole playing downwind packed with power swing it so nice this is the right center threatening those bunkers oh hang on just stays out of the bunker looks like we got a layup here for Vic Li just wasn’t great just turning into the left side of the Fairway it’s going to hang up just fine there though [Applause] hoblin ver birdie he’s within one with the driver needs to keep this left that bunker at 321 on the Right comes into play she start to cut towards it but got the soft bounce really important here get that ball first that’s a pitching wedge huge first hop it was the right Club he was a champ here last year oh my goodness I don’t know how that didn’t go in he’s thinking the same thing heard he went from good ball Striker to Elite player a year ago it gets really tight this is up the right edge of the Fairway needs a little kick and it gets it perfect position position right there yeah left edge of that big tree that’s a nine iron on the way seven uphill from 17 excuse me 182 my goodness nine iron Jack what is it that Jones said about you at he is looking good Frank isn’t he back to- back rounds of 69 yeah the confidence is starting to flow back great chance to defend punctuated a good round there Victor uh on 18 just kind of take me through both how the course was playing and then how you were able to kind of play well on it yeah greens were firmer today so that already makes the greens play a little bit smaller and then obviously um uh some nice gusts there and some steady winds makes it even more difficult so um did a good job of just hitting a bunch of Fairways but even then there’s a lot of thinking and and guessing going into the green it’s just uh it’s just hard to get it close to the close to the hole um but I managed to do that today somehow did it feel more difficult than yesterday the scores would indicate that but just from your Vantage Point yes 100% um I don’t know and so far with the different pins I thought there were some tricky pins yesterday but there were some good ones today as well um I just happen to play better today uh hit it a lot nicer missed a few short ones but um uh still yeah just play great was there anything did you go work on anything last night that you felt like maybe worked better with your swing today yeah I just got on a FaceTime with Joe and we just talked through some feels and simple cues that um you know I saw some immediate kind of improvement so it was nice to take those feels out to the course today you talked kind about this but the fact that now it seems like that you can take those fields from like Thursday night into Friday a lot easier maybe than you did earlier in the year is that kind of is that kind of correct yeah I mean it’s it’s key just finding a playable feel uh something that that’s going to be different and actually make you hit it better but it’s still got to be simple enough for you to do um under the gun because it’s uh you don’t have a lot of time and um to to Tinker out there it’s just uh when the course is so hard you got to know where the ball’s going thanks for watching the PJ Tour on YouTube watch another video right here
