congratulations your very first solo win out here on the PGA tour how do you describe how rewarding this moment is uh it feels good um me and my team have been putting in a lot of hard work the last uh couple months obviously not getting off to the start I wish I would have this PGA Tour season but uh know to grab a win here and kind of see the fruits of some labor just a test Testament to my team and I’ve just got a good group of people around me and I couldn’t do it without them and um yeah it’s it’s uh really satisfying it can be difficult to tea off today with the number one golfer in your same group chasing you down all day long how are you able to stay within your own game focused and in the zone when you had Scotty sheffler especially on that front night today for sure I just kept telling myself run my own race um yeah like you said it’s always tough when the number one player in the world is breathing down your neck and honestly uh no shot lead is enough um you know obviously Scotty has been playing some of the best the best golf in the world as of recently and for a while now um but yeah I just Tred to stay patient stay in my own lane and uh just try to stay present and uh fight as hard as I can this bumps you 6 spots in the FedEx Cup standings to 55th now how does that maybe make you reassess your goals as you look ahead to the playoffs which are much more in view yeah I’m certainly looking forward to adding adding some of those uh Signature Events to the schedule and obviously there’ll be a change in schedule and hopefully uh some more opportunities to get some more points and you know make a push towards East Lake so uh no I’m super excited super stoked and I’m looking forward to the rest of the year we’re excited for you too thanks Davis thank you
